(Esther's P.O.V)

"Esther! I'll be back at 2:00!" Nick yelled as he walked out the door.

"Okay! Have a good day!" I yelled back only half awake, 5:30 in the morning is too early.

It was my first day off since last Sunday, I had worked 8-10 hour shifts for 5 days straight and was ready to enjoy my bed for most of the day. That was until 9:15 when I received a call.

E~ Hello?

J~ Hi Esther, it's Joey, I hope it's not to early to be calling, we couldn't get hold of Nick.

E~ No, it's fine. What's up?

J~ The guys and I were wondering, where is the best place for breakfast?

E~ Well, there's IHOP, Krispy Kreme, regular fast food places, Dunkin' Donuts, and a fantastic little coffee shop I can't remember the name of next door to Ryder's Christian Book and Music store.

J~ Awesome! Thanks, but does either Nick or you have plans later, because we thought maybe we could be given a tour, you know a good one?

E~ Haha, yeah Nick works till 2, but I'm off today, so just text me whenever and I can meet you guys somewhere, if you want.

J~ That'd be great, we'll be in touch. Thanks again, I'll see you later.

E~ alright, bye!

I was by this time wide awake, so I got up and started my day. It was a little while later before my phone buzzed, many times, I looked at my phone to see a group message had been started between the Anthem Lights guys, Nick, and I.

Ch~ Hi, this is Chad.

Ca~ and Caleb

E~ Hey guys!

Ca~ We were wondering if you 2 would be interesting in joining us for lunch soon.

E~ That'd be fab! I think Nick goes on lunch break soon, I'm not sure, lemme see if I can get a hold of him.

J~ alright let us know.

N~ 😤😤😤

N~ I hate group messages, okay? And I go on break in about 20 minutes, 11:30.

A~ We can eat then, where are we going?

J~ Yeah Nick and Esther, where are we going?

E~ I don't know! We have so many places here!

N~ Somewhere quick, I only have 30 minutes. Does somewhere like Chick-Fil-A sound alright to y'all?

A~ Works for me!

E~ 😂😂 Me 5! Let's meet at the one by GameStop around 11:30, okay?

J~ Okay, see you there!

I quickly changed from my pajamas into a pair of red skinny jeans, white and black batman shirt to match my similarly colored vans. Next I pulled my hair into a messy bun and applied a light coating of makeup before leaving. It was already 11:25 and I still had a 5-10 minute drive ahead of me.

I arrived after Nick and the band, who had already ordered.

"Sorry about that, it took me a little bit to get over here." I apologized as I sat between Nick and Caleb.

"It's all good, I ordered for you, if that's alright." Nick replied kissing my cheek.
