So this chapter is going to be mostly in the bands P.O.V. since Joey is the only band member I've used so far... I think. 😄

~Sunday (the next day)~

(Chad's P.O.V)

We arrived at the church Nick told us about at 9:30, we still had 15 minutes to kill and wandered off to find Nick and Esther. It was the same church we played at the other night, so we easily found our way to the sanctuary, the place was full of people. I immediately spotted Esther standing nearby and Nick sitting, turned around talking, on a pew a few rows back.

"Hey girl." Joey said tapping Esther's shoulder.

"Hi guys! It's great to see y'all made it!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah, thanks for letting us join you." I replied not entirely sure what to say.

"Of course!" Esther said leading us to the pew Nick was sitting at.

We all slid into our seats and in moments we had different people come up to us welcoming us to the church until a familiar face approached.

"Hello gentlemen!" Said pastor Martin shaking our hands. "It's great to see you're joining us today!"

Alan continued to speak with Martin until the worship leader started telling everyone to take their seats. Immediately everyone hurried to their pews and he continued, I glanced at the church program to see his name was Ryan.

He started with prayer, then began singing, the first song was a common one, Mighty to save, he continued with hymns and closed with In Christ Alone and Stronger. Ryan said another prayer and Martin approached the stage, it was then I noticed their was no podium, which seemed a little strange, but I just shrugged it off. Martin went on with various announcements and eventually got to what I thought was going to be a sermon.

"Folks, today I am going to give you a break from me, I will not be sharing the word." Martin began, "Instead I have asked an awesome person to share their incredible testimony, it moved me and I can't imagine anyone leaving here not feeling the same. So let's pray and then I'll let our guest take over."

Martin prayed and I was shocked to look up and see Nick and Esther sitting on stools with their guitars.

(Caleb's P.O.V.)

I looked over at Alan, Chad, and Joey who looked equally surprised. I turned my attention back to the couple on the stage.

"Hello everyone! I am Esther Marcus and this is Nick Winslow." Esther said pointing to Nick, "so I know Ryan led us in beautiful worship, but Nick and I would like to kick off this time this morning with just 2 more songs. If y'all wouldn't mind standing up and joining us that'd be great."

As everyone rose, Nick began playing the guitar, Esther joined playing a minute later as Nick sang. I recognized the song instantly and sang along, it was Waterfall by Chris Tomlin. Eventually Nick pulled away from the mic continuing to sing and they both stopped playing, it was just the couple hundred voices singing to Christ lifting him up. I admit, it was beautiful.

"Wow, you all." Is all Esther said before Nick started playing his guitar again. I recognized the song almost immediately, it was Where the Light Is, a song from our self titled album. I saw Chad had his eyebrows raised obviously interested in the fact they would sing our song, especially in front of is.

"So, this next song is one that I have been listening to for a while now, but last year it took on new meaning for me, and actually had impact, as I believe music is an escape and a healing. It most certainly did that for me, but this song is called Where The Light Is by Anthem Lights." She said starting to play with Nick as he started singing.
