Sunday
"I don't wanna," Jisung whined, sinking further into his chair.
"It'll be fine." Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "It's not the end of the world. Besides, you need more friends than just me. You're annoying sometimes." Jisung sent him a death glare. "I'm kiddingggg, you know I love you."
"You fucking better," Jisung grumbled.
"Come on, Sung, you'll be fine. Taking the bus isn't necessarily a bad thing."
"But I've never done it before. I'm not gonna know anybody and it's gonna take years for me to get home each day, it's gonna be shit. I don't see why you can't drive me."
"Because my mom still doesn't trust me to drive other people. She says that I'll kill anybody who has the balls to get in my car."
"But you can drive Seungmin around all the time."
"Yeah, but she doesn't know about that. She doesn't even know that we're a thing."
"So, why does she have to know that you're driving me around?"
"We've been best friends for years, Jisung. She'll find out one way or another. You will take the bus and you will love it, understood?"
"Yes, mother." Jisung griped before the pair went up to his bedroom to play more video games before the day was over.

Monday
Jisung woke up the next morning dreading the day to come. He was anxious to go to school and meet all of his new teachers, but he was looking forward to seeing his friends again after the long break. He quickly got ready and went downstairs, grabbing a granola bar and heading out the door. Jisung walked down to the bus stop and just sat there, silently eating his granola bar. He heard the loud screech of the bus stop, signaling him to get up and climb in, finding the first empty seat possible. Luckily, there weren't too many people, so he sat down quickly. He pulled his earbuds out and plugged them into his phone, shuffling a random playlist. He had never taken the bus before so this was all new to him. Before, his mom was able to take him before she went to work, but since she got her new job, she didn't have any time. His dad worked the night shift so as Jisung was leaving, his dad was finally going to bed. Jisung just focused on the music coming through his earbuds and drifted to sleep, his head resting against the window beside him.
"Hey, wake up. We're at the school." An unfamiliar voice called out while lightly shaking Jisung's shoulder. He groggily came to and looked around to see who had awoken him. It was a boy that looked around the same age, but he was wearing a mask so Jisung couldn't see him that well. Within seconds, the boy was walking off the bus before Jisung could even thank him. He gathered his things and got off, slowly making his way to first period, hoping he'd see somebody he knew. Luckily, Hyunjin was in this class, so they immediately sat together.
"So, how was it this morning?" Hyunjin questioned, referring to the bus.
"I guess it was fine." Jisung rolled his eyes, realizing that he made a bigger deal out of it than it should've been.
"See? I told you it wouldn't be that bad."
"I pretty much just slept the whole time."
"I did the same thing, dude. That extra hour of sleep each morning was just the best." They both lightly chuckled to themselves as the teacher walked in to start the class. The first two classes of the day flew by and soon it was already lunchtime. Hyunjin and Jisung both had the same lunch period so they went together. Jisung was extremely thankful that they had pretty much the same schedule because Hyunjin was essentially his only friend. Of course, he had "friends" but none on the same level as Hyunjin. Once they sat down at their table, Seungmin walked over, but only for a few seconds.
"I'm gonna go sit with Jeongin, okay?" Hyunjin smiled and nodded, placing a gentle kiss on the youngest's cheek. Seungmin slightly blushed and then walked off, still not used to the affection as the couple hadn't been together for very long. Hyunjin grinned while watching his boyfriend walk away.
"You guys are cute or whatever," Jisung said, laughing.
"We are, aren't we?" Jisung stared at him blankly for a minute.
"Okay, never mind, I take it back. Y'all are gross." Hyunjin laughed at that. Before they could say anything else, somebody walked up to their table.
"Hey, Sung." Jisung looked up and realized who was it.
"Channie-hyung!" He yelled, quickly standing up and hugging the older. "When did you come back?" They hadn't seen each other in over a year as Chan had gone back to Australia for his Junior year, but he finally came back.
"Just last week. I wanted to surprise you, but then I got busy so here we are."
"I missed you so much."
"I missed you, too, Sungie. Don't worry." They both smiled at each other before somebody else walked over.
"I hate to break this little cuddle session up, but are you coming, Chan?" A random boy said, drawing Chan's attention.
"Oh, yeah, sorry. We got a little carried away." He laughed and walked off. "See you tomorrow, Sung." Jisung sat back down and started thinking of the boy that showed up for Chan.
"Do you know who that guy was that came over here? He seems familiar but I don't know who it is."
"He looks familiar."
"Mhm." Jisung knew it was going to eat away at him for the rest of the day, but he had no idea where it knew him from. The last two classes of the day went by and Jisung got back on the bus, he had only been sitting there for about 30 seconds before somebody stopped in front of him.
"This seat taken?" It was the boy from earlier.
