"Everything okay, Sungie?" Chan asked, concerned.
"I'm just so frustrated," He sighed, tears welling up in his eyes. Chan immediately noticed and stopped what he was doing, sitting next to Jisung on the bed.
"What happened? Something with Minho?" Jisung nodded and wiped the tears away, regaining whatever dignity he had left.
"He just doesn't understand where I'm coming from." Jisung quickly gave Chan a summary of what happened and their argument on the drive home. Chan knew that at that moment, Jisung didn't want advice, just an ear to listen. Chan leaned down and hugged Jisung, feeling the younger wrap his arms around the older. They sat there for a moment before hearing the door click open. "Go away, Minho," Jisung whined, looking away from the older standing in the doorway. Minho scoffed and looked at the back of Chan's head before giving up.
"I'll be in my room if you need me," He turned around and left the room, heading back to his own.
"I think you need to go talk to him, Sungie. Ignoring and pushing him away isn't going to do anything productive. In order to have a healthy and long relationship, it's important to talk things out. You guys have been together for almost a year now. Why would you want to let something as unimportant as this girl ruin it? So, just go talk to him, okay? I'm sure it'll help." Jisung sighed and left the warmth of Chan's hug to stare at the door for a minute.
"Fine." He stood up and walked to the door. "Thank you, Channie."
"Anytime." Jisung made it to Minho's room and slowly crept in, watching as Minho glanced at him from his phone.
"Go away, Jisung," Minho mocked, looking at his phone again.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."
"You sure you don't wanna go keep being butt buddies with Chan?"
"Minho, please," Minho put his phone down and sat up. Jisung sat down in front of him.
"I'm sorry I stormed off like that and told you to go away, but do you understand where I'm coming from? From my perspective, it seems so obvious that she's into you and I don't want her to try and get in the way of anything."
"Don't you trust me, Jisung? I would never let a girl I met less than a week ago ruin anything."
"Of course I trust you, angel, I just don't trust her. Like at all. And I mean, we've talked about this before, I can just get really insecure, I guess? I dunno." Tears welled up in Jisung's eyes again. Minho quickly hugged the sad boy in front of him.
"Hey, shh, it's okay," Minho whispered. "I'm sorry that I made you feel that way. I don't want you to ever have any reason to feel insecure in our relationship. I try to make sure that you know how much I love you every chance I get. I'm sorry that it can be hard for me sometimes to show that. I've always struggled with expressing my feelings. I'll do better from now on. But I need you to trust me and trust that I won't let her try anything." Jisung nodded.
"You make me feel extremely loved, don't worry."
"Good, I try. I really do," They both smiled at each other.
"Is there any way you can get a different partner?"
"No, I'm sorry. We don't get a choice. But I promise you, you have nothing to be worried about. If you want, you can even come and sit with us while we do it."
"Really?"
"Of course, if that will make you feel better then, of course, you can."
"Thanks, Minho," Jisung whispered, resting his head on Minho's chest, pushing him down so the two of them could lay down. "Also, what was that 'butt buddies' comment?" Minho laughed to himself in embarrassment.
