"Hello? Is it taken?" He asked again, watching Jisung get distracted by his own thoughts.

"Oh, s-sorry. You can sit here." Jisung flushed in embarrassment and moved his bag for the boy to sit down. He smiled and sat down, making sure to leave space between the two of them.

"So, you're friends with Channie, hmm?" Jisung shyly nodded, not used to strangers sparking random conversation. From the lack of response, he continued to talk. "We've been friends for a few years. We met at this studio cause he likes to make music and I like to dance. We both ended up moving to this new studio just recently though. I think that's what he was telling you about earlier. Him and Changbin's studio is like right next to the room I dance in. It's pretty funny that it worked out like that cause he didn't even know I moved studios when he came back. Guess we just always find our way back to each other." He laughed to himself. Jisung awkwardly laughed to be polite. " I'm sorry. I tend to ramble about random things and I'm just now noticing you don't even know my name." Jisung didn't know why but he felt the need to introduce himself so this random guy he'd only met just now would feel a little less embarrassed.

"Chan and I have been friends for 3 years. We met at a music festival. He was showing off an instrumental he produced and I went up to him to tell him that I dreamed to do what he was and here we are. He's honestly one of my best friends." Jisung didn't know why he was opening up to a stranger, but it just felt right. "And I'm Han Jisung."

"Lee Minho." They both smiled at each other for a second before looking away. A few minutes had passed of just peaceful silence. The bus driver ended up hitting a pothole in the middle of the road, moving a few passengers. It wasn't that bad, or at least it wouldn't have been if the pair weren't sitting directly above the tire. The impact from the bus bouncing made Minho fall almost entirely onto Jisung.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." Minho panicked, quickly shuffling off of the younger.

"Nah, it's fine. It's not your fault." Jisung brushed it off, not upset by it.

"I keep bothering you. I swear, my stop is coming up soon."

"Don't worry about it. You're not bothering me."

"You don't have to lie to me."

"I'm not."

"But you are."

"No, I'm not. You'd know if I was upset, trust me. Like I said, don't worry about it." Jisung slightly raised his voice. He didn't mean to, he was just a little frustrated. He didn't want Minho to feel like a burden, but he may have gone a little too far. He wanted to apologize for yelling, but he was too choked up, afraid he ruined a potential friendship before it even started. Jisung noticed his stop was coming up. "This is my stop." He mumbled.

"Me too," Minho replied. The bus stopped and the two got off, silently walking in the same direction. Jisung's house came first. Right before he walked off, he finally got the courage to apologize.

"Listen, man, I'm sorry for yelling at you."

"No, I get it. I was just being annoying-"

"Minho." Jisung interrupted. This was the first time Jisung had said his name in the small time they knew each other. "You're not annoying. That's why I raised my voice. I didn't want you to feel like you were being a bother but you kept saying I was lying. Just believe me, next time, okay?"

"Okay." Minho modded and Jisung walked into his house.

"So, how was your first day, buddy?" A deep voice echoed from the kitchen.

"It was good, dad!" Jisung yelled back before heading to his bedroom.

--

When Jisung got onto the bus the next morning, he noticed there were a lot more people than the day before. There was no empty seat. He looked around, slightly panicking, not wanting to sit with anybody he didn't know. He was about to just sit down with a random stranger when a familiar pair of eyes met his. A sigh of relief left his body as he made his way to the seat.

"Can I sit with you?"

"It'd be nice of me to return the favor, wouldn't it?" Minho laughed and scooted over, creating space for Jisung to sit next to him. They both sat in silence for a few moments before an idea came to Minho's mind. "So, we have the same lunch period, don't we?"

"Yeah, why?" Jisung questioned, taking out one of his earbuds.

"Why don't you come sit with Channie and me?"

"Are y'all a thing? When you talk about him, it just kinda feels like there's something there."

"If the two of you are as close as he says you are, then you should probably know if he has a boyfriend. You should also probably know that he already has a crush on somebody."

"He does?? Really?? Why didn't he tell me?"

"He's been in love with someone for like 2 years, how have you not known?"

"I don't know, he just never talked about his love-life with me."

"He never told me exactly who it was, but he gave me a few details."

"Ooh, tell me, tell me. I wanna tease him about it later."

"You can't tell him that I told you, but he said that he was a little shorter than him and that he is really into music, which is why they get along so well."

"Do you know what grade he's in?"

"Yeah, he's a Junior."

"Really? So that means he's in my grade." Jisung sat there, trying desperately to think of who it could be.

"Wait, you're a Junior?" Jisung nodded. Slowly the gears in Minho's head started to turn as he came to a very shocking conclusion. "Oh."

"What?"

"Nothing, just thought that we were maybe in the same grade, I don't know." Minho quickly covered his ass, not wanting Jisung to realize who Chan was in love with.  "Anyways, do you want to sit with us at lunch? Changbin will probably be there too."

"I dunno man, I don't really wanna intrude on your guys' lunch."

"You won't. Besides, I really wanna get to know you better, Jisung. I think we could be really good friends."

"Thanks for the offer, but I don't really wanna ditch Hyunjin for now. Guess you'll just have to hope we get stuck sitting next to each other again." The bus stopped and Jisung quickly got up, being the first person to get off. Minho got stuck behind a few people and soon just watched Jisung's head bob as he walked from a distance, a small smile growing on his face.
