Friday

"So, I was thinking. Why don't we start hanging out outside of school?" Jisung proposed as they made it to his house after school.

"Are you finally asking me out, Jisung?" Minho teased, knowing it would make Jisung get flustered.

"I- hyung." He whined. "I mean as friends. Do you want to hang out as friends?"

"Disappointed, but I suppose," Minho replied with a cocky grin spread across his face. "So, when were you thinking of taking me on this little date?"

"It's not a date." Jisung smacked his arm. "But maybe like right now? Just at my house and then maybe my mom can drive you home after? Up to you, obviously."

"Well, I think that would be very fun, Sungie." Minho ruffled his hair and started walking towards the front door. It took Jisung a few seconds to process how easily the older agreed before he quickly made his way to the front door before Minho. The two walked inside and made their way to the kitchen to greet Jisung's parents.

"Hey, mom." Jisung greeted. Before his mom got the chance to respond, Jisung continued. "Where's dad at?"

"Oh, they asked him to go in a little early."

"Why? He's gonna be so exhausted by the time he gets out."

"Well, they're gonna let him leave early, so don't worry."

"Oh, good."

"Well, who is this new visitor, Sungie?"

"Oh, that is my friend Minho. We ride the bus together and I figured it'd be okay if he came over for a little while. Is that alright?"

"Of course it is. The more the merrier, right?" Jisung smiled and nodded. "Would you like anything to drink, sweetie?"

"I'm fine with just a water," Minho replied politely. Jisung quickly grabbed both of them a water bottle and started walking to the stairs.

"My room's this way." Minho quickly followed after him up the stairs and to the first room on the left. Jisung noticed he hadn't cleaned his room that morning like he planned to and quickly panicked. He pushed Minho out of the room. "Just wait here for a minute, okay? Great." He picked everything up and put it in its place as fast as possible. He took one final glance to make sure it was presentable enough. "Okay, you can come in now." Minho looked around, taking in his surroundings.

"You have a cute room, Sungie." He said, smiling, before flopping onto Jisung's bed. "And your bed feels like a cloud."

"Thank you." Jisung sat down next to him, just smiling down at the boy on his bed. "Other than Hyunjin, you're the first person to see it."

"For real? Do you never have people over?"

"Not really, if I hang out with people, we always just go out and do something."

"So, you've never brought anybody home with you before?" Minho questioned, raising his eyebrows suggestively.

"Do I look like that kind of person?" Jisung laughed.

"I guess you have a point."

"I've never even had an actual boyfriend."

"I haven't either."

"But I thought you dated a lot."

"I've gone on dates but I've never had like a real relationship. It just never works out, so I try again."

"I haven't even done that." Jisung sadly laughed to himself. "Wait, you're gay too?"

"You're so oblivious, Sung." Minho giggled. "Why do you think I flirt with you and tease you all the time? It's certainly not cause I'm straight."
