seenJisung was starting to fall asleep and then there was a loud noise outside. He thought it was the storm starting. Turns out it was a certain 5'8 brunette throwing rocks at his window. It only took a few more clicks outside before Jisung finally went to investigate. He peeled back his curtain and was met with a dumb-ass grin spread across Minho's face. He quickly opened his window and let the older inside.
"What the fuck are you doing?"
"What? I wanted to make sure you went to sleep." Minho said, letting his bag fall onto the floor
"So, you snuck out? What happened if it started pouring on your way here?"
"I dunno, I would've borrowed some clothes." Minho shrugged, giggling as Jisung smacked him.
"You're so fucking dumb, I swear to god." Jisung couldn't help but laugh along.
"You love it." Minho grinned, flopping back onto Jisung's bed.
"Do your parents know you're here?" Jisung questioned, sitting down next to him.
"Hell, no. You think they'd let me go to a cute boy's house at 10 pm on a school night?" Minho laughed.
"So, why are you here then?" Jisung started to hit Minho's arm again, not believing his stupidity.
"Cause I was worried," Minho pouted from the pain in his arm. "I may not know what happened, but it clearly affects you. I don't want you to be tired tomorrow."
"You're too soft," Jisung grumbled.
"Well, that's better than being an ass, isn't it? That's something somebody here needs to work on."
"Oh, I'm an asshole?" Jisung asked, smiling in disbelief. For the first time, they were finally able to hear the rain outside. Jisung stood up and stood in front of the older, slightly towering over him."If I'm such an asshole, then why don't I just send you back home right now?"
"But it's raining," Minho complained, looking up and making eye contact with Jisung, pouting.
"Oh, but I'm an asshole, aren't I?" There was a playful glint in Jisung's eye Minho just couldn't get enough of.
"Whaaat?? Who said that??" They both laughed.
"You."
"I would never. My Sungie is the sweetest thing in the whoooole world." Minho said, the smile on his face only getting wider. He reached his arms out and wrapped them around Jisung's waist. A gentle blush dispersed on Jisung's face, loving the warmth of Minho's touch. Jisung put his arms on Minho's shoulder and smiled down at him. They sat there in each other's light embrace, smiling while listening to the soft rain against the ceiling. This was the first time in a long time Jisung had genuinely enjoyed the rain, and he knew exactly why he loved it so much. His newfound crush was hugging him and smiling at him as if he was the only thing that mattered. He felt amazing.
"How are your parents going to react to you not being home in the morning?" Jisung questioned, breaking the silence.
"They probably won't even notice. I'm typically out of the house before they even wake up anyways. And I can just lie and say I left earlier than usual if they notice. What about your parents? How are they gonna react when they see a boy come out of your room tomorrow morning?" Jisung blushed and lightly smacked Minho's shoulder.
"Don't word it like that. You make me seem all promiscuous," Soft laughs filled the room. "But, I guess we'll figure that out in the morning, won't we?" Minho nodded. "Let's get some sleep, Min."
"I guess we should." Minho dramatically flopped down onto his beck, pulling Jisung with him. In an attempt to catch himself, the pair ended up in a compromising position. Minho was laying flat on his back, Jisung straddling his waist, using his arms for support on each side of Minho's head. "I could get used to this view." Minho flirted, his hands meeting Jisung's waist again. Jisung quickly got up and just sat down next to him, huffing in embarrassment.
"I hate you. So much." Jisung said, laying down and getting under the blanket.
"I know you do." Minho adjusted beside him and got comfortable as well. They sat there in silence for a few minutes. "Do you mind if I ask you something?"
"Shoot," Jisung whispered.
"What happened to make you not like rain?" Jisung sighed and turned onto his side, facing Minho.
"So, my dad's always worked the night-shift. Always. He gets better pay and they're more lenient with him because nobody else wants to work at night. But, when I was about ten, the rain was really bad one night. Like, it was horrible. They let him go home early cause it was supposed to just keep getting worse throughout the night and they didn't know if he'd be able to get home safely. He's on his way home and some idiot hydroplaned and completely fucking t-boned him right on the driver's side. I was asleep when it happened, but that morning when I woke up, instead of going to school, my mom took me to the hospital. It was bad. Obviously, he's okay now, but just seeing him in that bed, barely breathing, and my mom, god, she took it the hardest. I was young, I didn't understand the extent of what had happened, but she did and she had to stay strong for me. She's amazing, she really is." Tears started to brim into Jisung's eyes just thinking back on how hard it must've been on her. He wishes he could've been there for her, but he was just a kid. He quickly wiped the tears away. "I mean, my dad's fine now, but I'm just always terrified that one night if it's raining super hard, they're gonna send him home early and it's gonna happen again. That it might even be worse than last time. So, when Chan or Hyunjin tell me to just call them and they'll be over, I treat them like idiots, 'cause they are." Jisung lightly laughed to himself, making a smile appear on Minho's face. "They're so fucking dumb sometimes, but I know that they're just trying to help, and I love them, but why would I want them to drive to my house when I'm scared that somebody's gonna get in a car crash? Like, use some common sense."
"Well, I didn't drive and it wasn't raining yet, so you can't be upset with me," Minho said, smiling.
"Oh hell yes, I can. Neither of our parents knows you're here right now, and you could've gotten caught in the rain on your way here. I'm definitely upset with you, but it wouldn't be fair of me to just kick you out after you walked the whole way here."
"That would just be cruel." They both laughed, feeling the tension of the serious conversation fade away.
"And yet, I'm so close to doing it."
"Just go to sleep."
"Gladly." Jisung rolled onto his stomach, his head now resting on Minho's arm.
"Not on me. How am I supposed to get comfortable if you're laying on me?" Minho griped, pushing Jisung away slightly, but not enough to actually move him.
"I don't know, figure it out." Jisung just got closer, wrapping his arm around Minho, side hugging him. When he was done adjusting, Minho's hand slowly sat on top of Jisung's waist, resting right about his hip. "Mhm, and you didn't want me on you." Jisung grinned to himself.
"Shut up and go to sleep." Minho griped, closing his eyes. They didn't say anything else and the two of them just drifted to sleep in each other's embrace.
