RAGHVANSH'S POV:
[A month later] 20th May"Pihu, I'm asking you for the last time-you aren't tired right?" I place my concerned gaze upon her.
I watch her shake her like a five-year-old kid as she shows me her palm stating- "No ya Ansh. How many times more will you keep asking me that. We won't even get time to talk that way, you know I have a surgery lined up after another fifteen minutes?"
Nodding at her sensible words, I say - "Oh yes Pihu, that does make sense, wasting time is the last thing I would do when I'm with you."
I see an adorable pink shade on her cheeks as she looks everywhere but me. Not wanting to waste another minute I say- "Did you have breakfast before the surgery? And how was it?"
She blinks looking all confused- "The surgery or breakfast?"
I let out a giggle at the cute girl and she frowns. So fucking adorable.
"The surgery, Pihu."
She mumbles an 'oh' and says- "Sorry Ansh, I was confused for a second. The surgery went very smooth and yes, I did have breakfast this morning. What about you? How was your mat session and also the interview?"
Pressing my back to the headrest, sighing I answer- "The interview wasn't better than usual, just those people question me without giving a fuck about my personal space. Given that I love Kabaddi, the mat sessions were as enjoyable as ever."
She exhales an understanding sigh- "Don't worry Ansh, interviews are just a matter of fifteen minutes. They'll pass too."
A smile appears on my face as her words soothe me, making me feel as if it was never a burden or problem. Dammit, why does she have to be so nice?
"Pihu, you're very special to me. You know that, don't you?" I stare at her figure through my screen and she lowers her gaze-tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"I know Ansh. You say that very often."
"Just the way I think of you very often, or maybe most of my day."
She giggles- "Ansh, don't lie."
Why does she think I'm lying? Frowning I say- "Pihu, you know very well- that I'm not lying also what's your schedule for today. When will your shift be over?"
My voice comes out vulnerable than usual.
I need to meet her, see her, hug her given that my eyes, ears and arms have been aching for the past 25 days.
Not being able to control myself, I say- "Pihu, let's meet today, please. It's been 3 days since I've landed in Pune, but we still haven't met. I feel very restless. It's fine if you're not able to, I'll understand Pihu."
I eye her cautiously and she smiles happily- "Ansh, this shift will be over by 6:30, so if you're free we can meet, what say?"
I grin like an Idiot at that as I say- "Yes, that works for me, Pihu. I'll pick you up, okay? Given that Aaraya dropped you to hospital today."
She nods- "Yes, yes. Something seems wrong with my car. But Ansh, I can take a taxi-"
She says only to be cut- "Pihu, I'll come to pick you up, that's final, okay?"
"Okay Ansh. That means- we'll be able to spend some extra time together," she shoots me a cheeky smile.
I continue to adore her as she speaks her adorable shit as usual. So fucking preety and cute, isn't she? Not that she isn't all inocent and kind.
