RAGHVANSH'S POV:
"Bend your elbow a little, Sir." He says. This guy is testing my patience and if he doesn't wrap this shoot within the next few minutes— I'll walkout.
"Okay." I follow his instructions and the camera flashes.
Ouch, my eyes.
"Let's wrap up." He announces and his team claps. I let out a relieved sigh. Finally.
"What's the time?" I look around asking no one specifically.
"Six-thirty."
As you see, I'm here— at the shoot location since 2 in the afternoon and I don't want to be. We're shooting for the page cover of some magazine I have no clue about.
Promotion and all of brands is okay, I get it. But I'm not a model, how do you expect me to pose for something which is not related to kabbadi or sports.
"Rahul, my phone?" I turn to my manager.
"I'm Rohan, not Rahul." He says handing me my phone and I take it.
"Yeah, whatever. Sorry." That's new, I rarely say something like thank you or sorry.
Nevermind.
I walk up to the chair kept at the corner of the room and comfortably sit. Unlocking my phone, I open my chat window with Piha.
Piha : Sir, you knew about it, didn't you?
I chuckle. Of course, I know what she's talking about. I view her status— online. I smirk, time to be cheeky.
You : What are you talking about, Piha?
I see two blue ticks, she's read it. I bite back a giggle as the image of her all surprised and narrowing her eyes flashes across my mind.
Piha : About the autograph, of course. Dad is probably still clinging onto it. Utkarsh Birla definitely knows how to impress my parents.
I type curiously-
You : Really? Tell me about it. Did your parents like it? What did they say?
Piha : Yes, they did. Not just that, he was saying- 'uncle aunty, he's a good friend of mine and you might meet him soon.' Mom, Dad were all stunned but then after that — he told them about how much he loved Di and how much he cared about her. They were very happy you know, they love him already.
Guys.
My brother seems to have impressed them. I'm happy for him.
You : I'm happy for them, Piha. You aren't worried, are you?
Piha : No, I'm not. Utkarsh Birla seems like a nice guy. Anyway, I'm not disturbing you, right?
I groan. There it is, I did see that question coming. I don't like the formality between us, not at all. Does she even consider me a friend, yet?
You : No, you're not. If you were, I wouldn't have replied, right?
Piha : I'm sorry, Sir. Stupid me. What are you up to??
