Y/n POV:

I can't tell how much time has passed in which I was shouting for help and hyperventilating until I finally calmed down and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Not being able to rely on the force was actually a welcome change for once and I imagined living like this forever. This thoughts vanished as soon as they came though, it's a gift that I should be grateful for, but at the same time it's pretty much the reason for this whole war. Without the force there wouldn't be any lightsabers and there would be no Jedi nor Sith, there would be piece in the galaxy. Still there is nothing I could do to change that so the least I can do is use the gift I've been given for the good and protect the ones who aren't as lucky as I am.

I try to enjoy my last moments, or however long it will be, until someone finds me and I'm thrown back into the life of a soldier with everything that comes with it, including me worrying over my fellow soldiers who are on the verge of dying (in this case Rex).

It's still dark outside of my cell and I decide to take a nap until someone comes to let me out.

Ahsoka POV:

I worry over y/n, she is much more affected by Rex's state then she wants us to see and with the recent events that occurred I don't think she is able to handle that all on her own. I make my way to her room to see if she is ready to talk with someone today. As soon as I'm there I wonder if it was the right decision to come here or if I should've just let her be alone but decide against leaving and instead knock on her door ready to be rejected again.

To my surprise she doesn't say anything so I knock again. "Y/n it's me Ahsoka, can I come in?" Still no response, maybe she's still sleeping. Wanting to make sure that she's okay, I open the door and look around her room irritated. Y/n is not here. Where did she go? I start to worry even more than before and sprint to where I saw Anakin the last time, hoping that y/n is with him.

I turn around the corner and collide with Anakin who seems to be confused to see me this disturbed. I quickly look behind him to see if y/n is there but she's not. Anakin looks at me expecting an explanation as to what happened that makes me so anxious.

"Anakin, did you see y/n somewhere?" I asked him trying to sound as calm as possible even though he already knew that something wasn't right. "No I haven't, she's probaly in her room, that's where I was headed  just now. Why are you asking? What's got you so troubled?" At this point I have no idea where I could search for her next. "No that's where I just were, y/n is not there and she can't be in the cafeteria either since it's not open yet. You are her best friend, do you know where she could be if not in her room?" He grew quiet for a few moments, you could practically see him thinking through every option, and getting more and more worried by any second. "No I don't know where y/n could be. I'm gonna inform Obi-Wan and Cody that she's missing, I'm sure that they'll help us search for her." He tried to remain calm, but failed miserably. "Okay, you do that, I'll start looking for her in the clone dorms in case she's with one of them." Anakin nodded and made his way back in the direction he came from.

Three minutes later I'm standing in front of the clone dorms. The first person I see is Fives who walks towards me as soon as he sees me. "Can I help you somehow General?" He then noticed my troubled face and waited impatiently for my answer. "Maybe you can, have you seen y/n somewhere? She's not in her room, and I thought that she might be with one of you guys." It took him a second to comprehend what I said, his eyes widened for a moment before he shook his head. "No, she's not here. I'd like to help you search for her, if you don't mind General." I smiled at his offer and felt happy that he offered his help. "Of course you can help, the more we are the faster we can find her." He nodded in understanding and jogged away to start searching for y/n.

Anakin contacted me over the comlink saying that Obi-Wan and Cody are searching for y/n in the meditation room. I decided to join them there to see where we can look after that.

Fives POV:

It's been 30 minutes since we started our search for y/n and we still haven't found her. I'm starting to lose hope that we'll find her anytime soon. The only place I could imagine her being where we haven't looked yet is the medical station, maybe she's just talking with the medical droids about Rex's state. To my surprise it's not y/n whom I see there but Rex, who's walking towards me with a bandage holding his arm up. "Hey Fives, it's good to see you! Are you here to visit me?" He smiled at me as if he wouldn't have any pain, as if he didn't almost die a few hours ago. "It's good to see that you survived, you had us all worried over you! But I'm actually not here to visit you." He tilted his head slightly and looked at me questioningly. "I'm searching y/n, we don't know where she is. I've been searching for 30 minutes already and there's still no trace of her and the others haven't found her either so I went here, hoping that she is just visiting you, but it doesn't seem like it." For a moment there was a change in his expression that almost looked like he was worried for y/n but it left his face as soon as it came.

"I'll help you search, let's go to her room, maybe she just went for a walk and is back by now." I nodded my head hoping that his theory was right and that we would find her there. We started walking in silence, it seemed like he was thinking about something important and I didn't want to disturb his thoughts.

The quietness didn't last long though, because suddenly there was the sound of someone shouting for help. Rex and I looked at each other thinking the same and started running after the sound.

Y/n POV:

I woke up again and this time the lights are on  and I can see everything. Hoping that this time there would be someone who could hear me, I started shouting for help once again. I was ready to stop ten minutes later, because my voice was starting to get hoarse and my throat felt really sore, but then I heard fast steps, probably some people running, and screamed once more at the top of my lungs. A few seconds later, two people came dashing around the corner. I recognised them as Fives and Rex and I was so relieved to see them. "It's so good to finally see you guys again! I haven't seen people in forever." Fives deactivated the laser door and I immediately embraced him. "Thank you both so much for getting me out of there I thought I was stuck there forever." I smiled at them both and it was only then that I realized what it meant that Rex was there too. Before I could say something about that though Fives started talking.

"How did you even get in there y/n? We searched for you everywhere but I would've never thought about looking for you here." I looked away from Rex and back to Fives feeling that he was happy due to the force. Wait. The force. I can finally use it again. I shook my head to get my thoughts back on the topic. I then looked at the ground blushing for being reminded of this embarrassing moment. "I wanted to go to the medical station to see how Rex was doing, I couldn't see anything though because it was in the middle of the night. I then saw a light and ran towards it, realizing too late that it was the light of the cell and that I was trapped." Fives started laughing and I blushed even harder. It took him a moment to stop laughing but when he did he just looked happy again. "We were all anxious that something bad happened to you, turns out that your coordinational sense is just messed up." I hit his shoulder playfully and rolled my eyes at him. "Anyway we're happy to see that you're doing good and the others will be incredibly happy to see you too." I wanted to pay him back for emberassing me so I switched to continue our conversation telepathically, hoping that he wasn't used to that yet. »They better are. Do you know how boring it is to be stuck in this cell with no one to talk to?« Fives looked startled and turned around to see who talked to him before he remembered that it was just me and shot me a playful glare. I suppressed my laughter and instead looked around to see where Rex is standing.

But he's nowhere to be seen...
