Y/N POV:

My reflexes kicked in upon hearing this all too familiar sound blaring from everywhere, in an instand I had my lightsaber ignited, holding it defensively in front of my body to be ready for everythhing that was about to happen. The Captain was the first to run when we suddenly heard people shouting in the distance. I followed him while trying to outrun him. He's still not in the condition to fight and I felt like it was my responsibility to protect him at all costs, Anakin would never forgive me if something happened to him while he's under my watch. I huffed, being annoyed that I had to babysit a grown man, it wouldn't be any better if he would be a kid though.

I soon realized that the shouts came from the cafeteria. That's weird, why would they be attacking the cafeteria and not the bridge? We came to a halt when we turned around a corner, the next turn would be directly in front of the cafeteria, I pushed Rex behind  me to shield him from the hord of battle droids that stood in front of us and started firing at us as soon as they noticed our presence. I had to deflect a few blasts before I found the opportunity to jump forward and slash my lightsaber through a few of them. I fell to the ground while trying to dodge out of the way of one of the droids as to not get shot. I looked around me frantically as I noticed that something else caught the attention of the droids.

Rex was fighting the droids a couple of meters away from me. He apperently freed his wounded arm from the bandage and was fighting with both of his arms, destroying one droid after the other. I never noticed how hot he looked when he was fighting like that. I shook my head trying to concentrate on the situation at hand. Rex could handle himself so I can finally fight without having to think about his safety all the time.

My relief did not last for long, I jumped over a few droids with the force and landed on a droid that gave me an uncomfortable feeling but I couldn't put my finger on what it was. When I did understand what was wrong I jumped away, but it was already too late. As it turned out the droid was a self destructive one. The explosion reached me in mid air and I fell to the ground. The pain shot through my whole body making it impossible to stand up. I heard a ringing in my ears, and the noises from my surroundings were muffled to the point where I could only make out that Rex yelled my name.

Surprisingly enough I didn't get shot in this time, as I slowly opened my eyes the answer to that was right in front of me. There were no droids to shoot me. The explosion probably destroyed them all, that's what I call luck. All of a sudden there was a hand waving in front of my eyes, i only then noticed that Rex knelt right beside me, given that his mouth was moving he was probably asking me if everything is okay, his eyes looked histerycally from right to left and landed back on me when he made sure there were no new droids. I could see a determined look in his eyes, that's probably what he looks like all the time on the  battlefield, but there was something else, I just couldn't tell what it was.

The ringing in my ears got surprisingly quiet for a couple of seconds, in which I heard the shouts of the other soldiers in the cafeteria. Adrenaline overtook my body and my pain washed away. I jumped to my feet and immediately started sprinting to the cafeteria, leaving a dumbfounded Rex behind. I came to a halt when I arrived at my destination and a second later Rex appeared right beside me. On the left of the room were the clones that weren't on the mission for whatever reason, and on the left were pirates. Pirates? Since when do pirates use battle droids? The leader of the pirates seemed to be in a heated argument with the soldiers. My body moved before I could do anything about it and I had my ignited lightsaber in my hand a second later, I pushed the leader of the pirates against the nearest wall and held my lightsaber a few inches (centimeters) away from his throat. The other pirates all pointed their blasters at me but I didn't care much about that.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I said in a dark voice being furious that he almost killed Rex and me. "Whoa, put your lightsaber down jedi. I'm Hondo, and I mean no harm." A bitter chuckle escaped my throat upon hearing what he said. "If you mean no harm, why were there a hundred battle droids firing at us when we came here?!" I knew the name Hondo from somewhere but I didn't know where I heard it before and in what context. He smiled, trying to come off as innocent, which I knew he wasn't.

"My dear, the droids only attack when you attack them, we reprogrammed them." He said in a mocking voice. Looking back at it they really just attacked us when we started fighting them. I felt embarrassed and looked down for a moment to hide my face, that didn't last long though.

"If you're not here to attack us, what are doing here then?" His smile came back and it seemed that he was just waiting for an opportunity to say that. "I am here because I have to discuss something with jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi." I lowered my lightsaber and took a step back being too confused to remain intimidating. Hondo looked around for a second and signaled his men with a wave of his hand that they should lower their weapons. "He doesn't seem to be here though. If you see him anytime soon, please tell him to contact me." With that he turned his back to me and walked with his men right out of the room back to their spaceship to fly back to where ever they came from. I looked after him for a second asking myself how he knows Obi-Wan and if they were friends or anything.

As soon as they were out of sight the adrenaline left my body and the pain shot right through me again. I doubled over in pain but tried to remain standing this time. One of the clones came up to me and asked if everything was okay, I just nodded, not trusting my voice enough to speak, and made my way back to the entry, where Rex was still standing. After I made a few steps my body couldn't take it anymore and I fell to the ground, the last thing I heard were people shouting and asking what was wrong before everything went black.
