Kageyama couldn't stop thinking about that orange haired boy on his way to morning practice.

He didn't know what it was about Hinata that always seemed to catch his attention. He figured it was just because of Hinata's abilities on volleyball, or maybe the fact that Hinata unintentionally makes himself known everywhere he goes. Kageyama admired that, Hinata seemed to handle things with such confidence, he was always happy, always loud. Not once the raven haired thought he could be like Hinata. It was truly a struggle.

After practice, where Aiko was with Hinata all the time, Kageyama made his best to avoid them both. He had nothing against Hinata, it was the girl practically attached to him that made it impossible to be around the orange haired boy.

"Kageyamaaaa!" Speaking of which.

Hinata ran over to Kageyama, bumping onto the taller one's arm. He slowed down, walking at the same pace of the boy next to him.

"Hi." The taller one looked down at Hinata, who was beaming with happiness.

"Why are you so happy?" He asked.

"Because, if you didn't forget, as you always do, tomorrow is the day we're taking a trip with the team for the week! Did you forget?" Hinata talked with excitement, looking right upfront. Kageyama did so too.

"I guess I forgot." Kageyama shrugged, but there was a hint of a smile in his eyes.

"Dumbass Kageyama~" Hinata teased, starting to sprint. He knew that Kageyama would pull him up by his hair and yell at him. As a joke of course, yet he still ran.

"Get back here you shrimp!" Kageyama exclaimed, his voice full with anger, but really, he was filled with joy. He and Hinata had spent more than seven minutes together, and not because of volleyball.

"Catch me if you can, Bakayama!" Hinata yelled, they were close to the school already, yet the orange haired boy made no sign of stopping as he walked inside.

Once inside, Hinata bumped into a taller someone. And Kageyama was able to catch up with him soon enough. An embarrassing Yamaguchi was seen kneeling down in front of Hinata, who was now on the ground.

"Hinata, are you okay?" He asked with worry, but it soon washed away as he saw the shorter one smile. "I'm okay!"

Hinata stood up, and looked behind him to get his bag. Yamaguchi had walked away to his class already.

"You dumbass!" Kageyama exclaimed, pulling Hinata by his hair and walking him in direction to their class. "Ow Kageyama! That hu- ow!"

The raven haired payed no mind, instead he sat him down and took the seat next to him. Well, almost.

"Hey Shoyo!" A voice Kageyama knew all too well and absolutely despised rang.

"Aiko." Hinata said, his smile became smaller as he turned to look in direction of said girl. Aiko's blonde hair was down, it was shoulder length and wavy, her eyes were a very noticeable green. Kageyama hated how pretty she was, yet he didn't understand how someone like Hinata would like her.

"Kageyama-kun, mind if I take this seat?" Her smile seemed genuine, she actually seemed nice. But her eyes gave her away, the glint of hatred towards the raven haired was obvious to Kageyama. But he couldn't help but comply to it, he didn't want to make Hinata sad. And so he snatched his bag from the desk and walked over to another empty seat, which was across the classroom.

He sat down, taking out his materials for the class, all while he saw Hinata and Aiko talking, laughing, even kissing. He was nauseous, physically nauseous. And he wanted nothing more than for this day to end already.
