Oikawa woke up in Iwaizumi's guest bedroom. He sat up and stretched, while yawning. He then remembered where he had fallen asleep. Did Iwa-Chan carry me here? Damn. Last night was nice. It was a trip down memory-lane where Oikawa felt like he was in high school again. He missed high school. He missed Aoba Johsai. He missed his teammates. He missed the team. He missed... volleyball. Tears started falling without Oikawa noticing them until one dripped onto the clean blanket below him. He quickly wiped his tears and got up. The fact was, though tears had fallen, he didn't actually feel that sad. He felt... different, but he couldn't quite place a finger on it. Slept in my clothes again. He lightly giggled as he got dressed and headed out of the guest bedroom after grabbing his phone. He checked the time which read 1:24pm. Damn, I really slept in, didn't I? He walked out to see Iwaizumi sitting on the couch, two plates of food on the coffee table in front of him, "I was wondering when you'd wake up. Come eat before the food gets cold." Oikawa smiled softly and obeyed, sliding down on the couch next to Iwaizumi. "Yes mom, thank you mom," Oikawa said slyly. Iwaizumi just glared. They said their thanks and began to eat.

.

"We're going out soon, by the way," Iwaizumi says after starting the dishes, much to Oikawa's dismay because "you're cooking, feeding and housing me I can do the dishes!" "Where to?" Oikawa asked, leaning over the couch with his chin resting atop his clasped hands. "You'll see," Iwaizumi said, seeming to be ending the conversation, not wanting to hear Oikawa complaining about being curious. "Iwaaaa, again? I need to know!" Oikawa says, mockingly exasperated. "Mhm," Iwaizumi hums, not even sparing a glance in Oikawa's direction. Oikawa continued to whine, but all Iwaizumi did was smile. What an idiot.

Oikawa and Iwaizumi were in the car, Oikawa sobbing to a sad song that came on the radio with Iwaizumi laughing at him. Oikawa was usually an emotional person, but since the volleyball incident his sensitivity levels skyrocketed. It reminded Oikawa of what had happened earlier. He choked out sobs that hurt more than usual, as he was also laughing at the stupidity of himself and his emotions. "Iwaaaaa-" Oikawa whined, which only made Iwaizumi laugh even more. It was to the point where Iwaizumi had to pull the car over because he was doubling over with laughter while driving. They sat there, laughing and crying for a good ten minutes straight; for every time they started to calm down one would do something totally normal, but the other would laugh, making both of them laugh, making it a repeating cycle. Once they both calmed down, they continued on their way, still giggling a bit until they got to a coffee shop. "I want coffee before we get there. 'You want one?" Iwaizumi asked, opening his car door slightly. "Hmm, yes please! My regular," Oikawa laughed, not expecting Iwaizumi to remember his regular; it was quite complicated, but Iwaizumi just nodded and walked into the coffee shop, leaving Oikawa in the car; dumbfounded. Oikawa sat there, fully expecting for his coffee order to be totally wrong, but when Iwaizumi returned and handed him a cup of coffee, he took a sip and was very pleasantly surprised. "You actually remembered my order?!" Oikawa asked, gasping. Iwaizumi just hums. "That makes me feel special," Oikawa says, starting to sob again. They were back to being pulled over, laughing at each other- well mostly Oikawa as he cried. "What's up with you today? You're so emotional," Iwaizumi says between laughs. "I don't know," Oikawa says, dragging out the W. Once they composed themselves, again, Iwaizumi continued on driving them to their destination, which Oikawa still didn't know of yet.

Iwaizumi sparked a conversation after their many minutes of staying silent, a comfortable silence, but silence nonetheless. "Do you... remember our first date? It was a double one, I took Yuuka and you took Misaki? The two girls in our science class." Oikawa paused for a moment, recollecting his thoughts before speaking, "ah, yes! They were both super sweet, but it was so awkward. It felt like I was on a date with you and they were on a date with each other based on how we weren't actually talking to the girls and just talking to each other about how nervous we were." They chuckled at the memory. "We couldn't have been older than 13, right?" Oikawa asked. "No, pretty sure we were like 12," Iwaizumi said, tilting his head a bit. Oikawa admired him. Gay panic: Head tilt. Gay panic: Head tilt. "'Kawa?" Iwaizumi said, making Oikawa flinch a little. "Oh yeah, you're right. Didn't we take them to that roller skating place not too far from here?..." Oikawa paused, slowly looking back over to Iwaizumi, who was smirking. "Don't tell me..." Oikawa started. "Yup," Iwaizumi finished. "Oh... Oh. I'm so dumb, we're going straight to it!" Oikawa says laughing. Iwaizumi joins him and they drive directly to the roller skating place.
