Chapter 10

It's been two weeks since Tommy and Evan started dating and everything was going really well. Evan wanted to surprise Tommy because it was his birthday.

"Where are we going" asked Tommy when they were on the car.

"It's a surprise" Evan kissed Tommy on the lips.

Evan didn't really have anything planned so he decided to improvise something.

He decided to take Tommy into a nearby plaza.

"Why did you bring me here?" Tommy asked once they arrived.

"It's your birthday and I wanted us to be together for the day" Evan smiled.

They stopped at a pizza place. After ordering a pizza and drinks, Evan decided to confessed his initial intentions to his boyfriend. He hoped that Tommy wouldn't get too mad.

"You know? at first I didn't consider you my friend" Evan started, he was nervous already and he hasn't said everything yet.

Tommy looked confused.

"I just wanted you to help me with homework but as I spent more time with you, I started to develop feelings for you" Evan looked down, he couldn't bring himself to look at his boyfriend.

Tommy's mouth formed an "O" shape.

"I'm telling you this because I want to be sincere about everything from now on" he looked up.

"Are you mad?" Evan asked noticing Tommy's expressionless face.

"I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed" Tommy admitted.

Evan felt bad because of his immature actions.

"But it's okay, past is past. You have demonstrated that you have changed" Tommy smiled, he wanted to kiss Evan but he didn't know if the blond was okay with showing affection in public.

"You can kiss me" Evan said grabbing Tommy's hands.

Tommy kissed Evan and it felt just like the first time they did it.

"I'm in love with you" Evan blurted out.

"What?" Tommy asked. He was confused because it was the first time that Evan mentioned the word Love.

"You heard me, I love you. I know that we have been only dating for about two weeks but we've known each other for almost a year now. I think I fell in love since the first time I saw you."

Tommy got closer to Evan and hugged him.

"I was just in denial" Evan said hugging Tommy too.

"I love you more" Tommy said. He was happy because his relationship with Evan was working.

He finally realized that he was enough of a person. If someone doesn't see it, it's not Tommy's problem.

He was worth it.

"Let's go back to my room" Evan said.

"Yeah, let's go" Tommy said.
