I had a dream last night.
I was standing in a beautiful veranda
across a field of white roses.
When a pair of warm hands enveloped my body.
The bloom of flowers in front of me could not
compare to each word of flourish that you
whispered in my ear.You hugged me oh so tightly.
I started hearing crushed noises.
Something was breaking.
My ribs.Yet you stayed unto me.
Oblivious to what's going on.
Shining silver slides across my skin
and pierces through.
Vermilion rivers flow to color the garden
of roses into its own hue.Was it love?
You broke my ribs as you did with my trust.
You stabbed me, likewise my heart
when you splayed my secrets.
Ironic isn't it?
It was love until it's wasn't.
But then I heard the bells ringing.
I woke up.
