I wake up every morning thinking,
how would these beats from my chest
help me from drowning?
The salty water from my eyes
kept acting up these days.
How could someone be sad over spilled milk?
Exaggerated folk.
Ah! what a year to be alive!
So many wishes and dreams
were thrown down the drain.
Aren't we done yet?
When are we gonna break free
from this poisonous hive?
So wet from the hot rain of everyone's tears.
Torture isn't even the word.
Aren't we all bored?
Wait, are we on the apocalypse yet?
Cause it feels like it.
Have you ever feared sleeping because
you're afraid of tomorrow?
It might be full of lament and sorrow.
