I was told to fake a smile
And hold it just for a little while.
It made me angry and I wondered how
They could ask me that of all times now.
Can't they see how much I try
To lie and lie and lie and lie
To them, the world and even I?
Can't they see I never cry?
But what can I do? I only sigh.
And say "ok" as I wipe my eye.
