Summary: two OVERLY stupid best friends trying to confess to each other after being kicked from a not-supposed-to-be double date with Minsung

You loved your friends to the point you were ready to die for them. But sadly, at the same time, you hated them to the point you were ready to strangle them with your own hands.

Jisung, especially.

Oh, how freaking convincing that bastard was!

"It'll be a friendly meeting, y/n, baby. Only me, Minho-hyung and Binnie-hyung. Just, you know, talking it out and relaxing after a long week."

He didn't stop at that, bragging about how the club he chose was playing live music every Friday, and how they would have a free entrance just because another hyung he knew was working in there as a pianist.

At that point you were convinced, Jisung had an interesting obsession with hyungs, choosing only older people to befriend. But the boy kept chattering about how good the drinks at that bar were, and yes, at some point you just gave in.

Should you notice everything went completely not how you've expected it to be?

First of all, they made you sit next to Changbin. Knowing pretty damn well about the hopeless crush you had on him. Knowing pretty damn well the way Changbin treated you like a sibling.

They were bulling you, you were sure about that.

And you would've rather spent the night, listening to Minho's slightly drunk blubbering about his cats and his new oven which was, in Minho's humble opinion, the best thing that happened to him through his entire 23 years long life. But you were stuck sharing one plate of pasta with your crush, feeling extremely awkward and out of place.

Second of all, after an hour of music-listening, cocktails-tasting and pizza-eating, your two best (as you were still thinking) friends excused themselves and hide in a bathroom for only God knew reasons. And, honestly speaking, you had your ideas of what they might have been doing there, and you even shared it with also slightly tipsy Changbin. To which he smiled nervously and lied down on the table, his palms replacing his pillow, making his cheeks squish in a disgustingly cute way.

And that's how you were now spending your Friday evening, two of your friends abandoning you to probably spend some quality time together, your crush being openly uninterested in you, laying down on a table after having a few cocktails.

The jazzy something was playing in the background, warm and sticky, making you wish you were slow dancing, swirling from side to side, one particular person's hands on your hips. But you knew it wasn't happening, and even the sweetest cocktail couldn't erase the bittersweetness of that feeling. So, eventually, you decided to leave.

"Binnie," you whispered into the man's ear, without denying yourself the pleasure of leaning on his side and having a "closer" sniff of his cologne. "I think I'll go home soon."

He didn't even move, and by the way he was breathing softly you, with a sad chuckle, realised he might've fallen asleep. Good for him, then.

"Binnie," you tried again, this time moving a tad bit closer, pressing on your "friend's" shoulder. "Changbin."

No reaction.

Was he really that drunk after trying two cocktails? Was it even possible?

"Seo Changbin, I need you to wake up, so you won't be frightened I left you so suddenly," you whined, squeezing his biceps. A lame excuse to touch him, you knew that, but you were too tired to care.

You also were aware of the fact that you could've just sent him a message. Technology was still a thing in 2021, wasn't it?

"Binnie, fuck you, get up," you decided to fuck common sense when you leaned your head against his temple, whispering loudly into his ear. "If you won't get up, I-" you frantically thought of what would sound more terrifying for him but chose the most terrifying thing for yourself instead. "I'll kiss you..."
