Disclaimer: NON ROMANTIC story where I simply wanted to show the dynamic between the boys. I got inspired after I wrote Hyunbin, and decided to write 3 more drabbles like this😌
I wrote this one after watching their Two Kids room episode🙈
Big eyes. Pouty lips.
Something warm and sticky overflows Chan's chest, while he stares. Then the warm something reaches Chan's throat, and he almost chokes.
God, how freaking much he loves this feeling.
"Did you miss me?" His voice changes on his own, climbs a few notes up, but Chan doesn't care. He thinks he stopped caring a long time ago.
Yes, he's embarrassing. Maybe. But Minho's reaction is worth it.
"Do you want me to stick this cherry tomato in your eyes?"
The twinkle in the eyes. The pleased smile.
Chan is rewarded with a chance to side-hug Minho for a few long seconds without being pushed away. He stubs his chin in Minho's shoulder just to be a little bratty, and thinks that the rest of today is going to be great.
"Hyung! Why do you act like such a younger brother to me?"
Chan knows exactly what Minho means, but is he going to let him know? Of course, not.
"Like, 'MiNho-hYunG'," Minho mimics the way Chan calls him, allows his voice to become high-pitched and thin.
Chan gives in right on the spot, that warm something expanding in his chest and almost burning him from inside. "You are the one who keeps acting like a huyng to me!" He tries to come up with an excuse. He doesn't add that he's thankful.
"Bullshit, huyng," there's no anger in Minho's voice. Chan glances at him, notices the same pleased smile, the twinkle in the eyes, and gives in once again.
Minho is happy. Minho is relaxed and comfortable. It feels good to see him happy.
Chan nurses the idea for a few seconds, stares at the way Minho chews a big juicy grape while looking like a pleased cat, and decides that he will do anything to keep him smiling like that.
