Disclaimer: NON ROMANTIC story where I simply wanted to show the dynamic between the boys. I got inspired after I wrote Hyunbin, and decided to write 3 more drabbles like this😌

I'll attach the picture that inspired me to write this one

Okay. Yes. Finally.

Felix feels his mouth watering and swallows. He can feel the taste of that divine chicken on his tongue, hear the way it'll crunch when he'll dig his sharp little teeth into its body. Oh God, he can't understand why he was holding back from ordering it for so long!

And he also can't understand why he voluntarily agreed to eat together with Seungmin, and has been waiting for him for the past freaking hour. God bless him and his patience.

The living room is unfortunately quiet, only the sound of the refrigerator growling from the kitchen and the water running in the shower because Seungmin's just got home from his vocal lesson.

Felix ogles the chicken and tries really hard not to pay attention to his stomach growling. He's damn hungry, and their dog is taking forever in the shower. (He should've snacked when Chanie-hyung offered...)

While Felix waits, Minho looks out of his room and smells the air. Like a true cat, Felix thinks when the oldest slowly approaches the coffee table where the smelly chicken awaits. He silently checks the boxes, examines the golden crust and grumbles something about restaurants being too careless and forgetting their roots. Felix tries to fish out what's wrong with his favourite chicken, but gets only "skin's too orange" in return.

When Minho leaves the living room, Felix's butt starts to ache, and he curses Seungmin out for being too late and loving the water too much for an honourable dog like him.

But then the dog bursts into the room, and Felix can finally relax.

It's time to eat.

"Is it still hot?" The dog barks the words loudly, sniffles the boxes while simultaneously trying to dry his hair. "Did they separate the spicy one from your plain one?? I don't want THAT next to my precious spicy chicken."

Felix fights the urge to pat Seungmin's round head, and then squirms when the dog shakes his head, spattering the water everywhere.

A freaking golden retriever, Felix thinks with annoyance and fights another urge to give the said golden retriever the best bone from the box.

"Did you order sprite?? Or did they mix it once again and gave us that milkis thing?! God, you know I HATE it, and—"

"Minnie, sit."

The dog obeys silently. It makes Felix extremely happy.

Sprite sizzles when they pour it into the glasses. The plastic bags rustle when they crumple them before throwing away. The lid of the sauce container opens with a loud pop; a few drops of it stain the table.

Felix feels the dog's eyes on him when he puts a thin glove on his small hand and finally, FINALLY, choose the chicken leg he was eyeing for the last 10 minutes. The dog continues to stare at him when he moves the sauce closer and dips the chicken into it.  A few drops of that sweet and sour sauce fall on his chin when Felix finally, FREAKING FINALLY, takes a bite.

"I don't even want to know why you are disgracing the holy chicken," the dog mumbles and frowns.

Disgracing the holy chicken...

Felix chokes on his sprite; Seungmin munches on his chicken while the later coughs.
