The Epiphany // (Jungkook x Reader)✅

"Hi"

You woke up early, feeling a little nervous about the new beginnings.

Dressing up in a blue blouse with a white slit pencil skirt, you looked at yourself in the mirror and told yourself, "Fighting!!".

As you reached the place, you noticed that it was a huge campus where two tall buildings stood. One was occupied by your company and one by another. However, the common areas like cafeteria, garden and resting area seemed to be shared by both.

You asked for the finance floor at the reception and were guided towards the elevator. Reaching the 3rd floor, Yoongi introduced you to the team.

You requested for all the files regarding the accounts that were assigned to you and suggested the team to set up a meeting, so that you can get a walk through.

At lunch, you decided to sit by yourself in the cafeteria. Suddenly, a familiar voice called your name out in a surprised tone.

"Y/N??"

You turned around quickly and were startled to see the person standing in front of you. The man was in white shirt and black jeans. His blonde hair slicked back and plump lips curved into a smile.

"Oh my god!! Jimin!!?", you shrieked. "Hii", you went ahead and hugged him.

"I thought I was mistaken, but it's really you.", He hugged you back. "How are you here?"

"I got transferred here to the head office.", You were so happy to see him. This was such an amazing coincidence for both your companies to be in the same campus.

Jimin asked you to join him for lunch, while introducing you to the man standing next to him. You looked at him and shook his hand with a smile on your face. He was gorgeous, and taller than Jimin. With his dark brown hair falling right in place, his face looked like that of a Greek god. He greeted you back with a boxy smile.

"Hi, I am Kim Taehyung, Jimin's colleague.", he said in a deep voice.

You shared a table with them and Jimin told Taehyung about Iceland trip. You wanted to ask Jimin about Jungkook, but held back.

"Jungkook would be so happy to know that you are in Korea. We should catch up sometime.", Jimin suggested.

"Sure", you smiled, suppressing your urge to squeal hard at the thought of meeting Jungkook again.

At night

Jungkook was meeting Jimin at an elite restaurant, where he had booked a private booth for them. He liked to keep his personal time to himself and not get it published in the news. He entered the place and noticed Jimin already waiting for him.

He quickly apologized for being a little late and Jimin stepped up to give him a warm hug.

"Congratulations on the award!! I am so happy for you."

"Thanks Chim."

They got seated and ordered fried chicken and beer. Time passed in the blink of an eye. They were laughing and discussing various things happening in life. After getting slightly drunk, their conversations took a philosophical turn and they started talking about the meaning of life and existence.

Suddenly, Jimin recalled something and face-palmed himself for forgetting.

"What is it?", Jungkook enquired with a worried look.

"I forgot to tell you that y/n is here in Seoul. She got transferred and she is working in the same campus. I met her today. It was her first day.", Jimin blurted half drunk.

"She is here!!", Jungkook was unable to process the information.

"Yes, I think we all should meet up.", Jimin suggested.

"We will see.", Jungkook tried to act cool, unnecessarily. Internally, he was screaming and jumping with joy.

Next day

You were in the cafeteria during the break. Jimin asked you to join him and Taehyung for lunch. You agreed because their presence made you feel comfortable.

Eating the food, you felt someone standing behind you. Before you could turn, Jimin gasped, "What are you doing here?", His eyes ready to pop out.

You turned and saw a man standing behind you. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. With his fluffy black hair falling on his forehead, and a black mask covering half of his face. Only his black doe eyes were visible. It didn't take you more than a second to realise who he was.

"Hi, Y/N.", He said softly.
