As soon as I opened the social media, it was flooded with Jungkook's topic.

Why is Jungkook trending all over the internet?

As I scrolled through, I got the answer I wish I hadn't asked for.

Someone had clicked a picture of Jungkook with a girl, near Han River. Jungkook's face was almost recognizable, but since he was hugging the girl, she was not clearly visible. But I knew who the girl was and where the picture was from.

It was us, from the morning.

I freaked out. Panicking at the highest capacity. I quickly dialled his number.

"Jungkook.. social media.. Did you see? It's us...", I was barely making sentences.

"Calm down, Peaches. It will be taken care of. Don't panic.", He tried to assure me.

"But all over social media, everyone is talking about that photo."

"Nothing will happen. Trust me.. and I was on my way to the studio, but I am coming to pick you up now. Meet me outside in 10 minutes."

"Ok."

I was out of sorts. I reminded myself that Jungkook will take care of it. I should not panic. I rushed out and told my dad that I have to urgently leave as something important has come up.

He looked worried with the sudden rush, but I assured him that everything is fine and that I will explain to him later.

When I stepped outside, Jin's car was already waiting for me. I quickly opened the door and sat in. Seeing Jungkook, my first instinct was to hug him. He hugged me back.

Few seconds later, we separated and I greeted Jin, who gave me the sweetest smile. I knew he wanted to cheer me up.

"We will take care of it, y/n. These things happen. Even right now, our team is trying to locate where this picture surfaced from. We will sue the person for privacy invasion.", Jin politely informed me.

"See.. I told you right... Jin hyung is the best. He will take care of it.. I knew you must be freaking out, so I came to meet you.", Jungkook added.

"Jungkook, I was just worried that your fans will come after you. I know how these things go down. And God knows what all will they say about me. All this just scared me.", I said.

"No one will come after you or me. And don't read anything they write online. It will all settle down in a few days. Besides, your face is not showing in the photo, so your identity will be secure.", Jungkook held my hand.

"Thanks..", I tried to smile.

After spending some time with Jungkook and Jin at the studio, they dropped me back home.

I promised not to look at online articles, but I couldn't help myself.

I shouldn't have looked, because it was full of hate for me, and some were even giving hate to Jungkook.

"OMG!!! Who is this girl?? She is so short and looks like shit in front of Jungkook oppa."

"I could tell even from her back that she is an ugly duckling."

"I was shipping Jungkook with Ji-eun.. where did this bitch came from?"

(Come from.. not came... ughh... what am I even thinking right now!!)

"How could Jungkook oppa date anyone else? He always said that we are his first love. I am leaving this fandom!!"

"I will find this girl.. show us her face.. let us see what Jungkook's taste in girls is like."

Tears started flowing from my eyes. I was expecting this kind of backlash if anything about our relationship ever got out, but to expect something and to face it in real life is totally different.

I threw my phone to the side and closed my eyes, repeating Jungkook's voice in my head that it will settle down in a few days.
