"Dream about you"

Y/N's POV

Jungkook texted me as soon as he reached the hotel. But we could not talk much, as he was exhausted from his long flight.

He was extremely busy with the concert and rehearsals, so we were not getting much time to talk to each other. Whenever he was resting in his room, he called me. But I kept the calls short, as I could sense how tired he was. I told him that he needs to properly rest.

My weekdays at work were uneventful. I was stuck to my usual routine. Working, and taking breaks with Namjoon, Jimin and Taehyung.

I was immersed in the laptop screen when I felt a tap on my shoulder and my soul literally left my body at the sudden touch. I turned around startled.

"Whoa whoa whoa!! What is this reaction for? I am not that scary!!", Namjoon went into a defensive mode, as if he would do some karate move.

"Oh! It's you.. I was just lost in some thoughts..", I giggled at his posture. "Did you need something?"

"Not exactly.. I was just wondering if you wanted to join me this Saturday to go to a book cafe. It's newly opened in my neighborhood and is looking good."

"Definitely. Text me the address. I will be there."

"Great!! See you saturday. I will let you know the time and place.", He winked and left.

Saturday Evening

On my way to meet Namjoon, in the cab, I started scrolling through social media.

It was full of clippings from Jungkook's concerts posted by various fan accounts. Seeing him in those clips made me miss him more.

Ahhh!!! Please come back soon baby!!

When I arrived at the address, Namjoon was already waiting for me outside the cafe.

"Hi, why are you standing out here? You should have gone inside.", I shook his hand, and he side-hugged me.

"Well, I believe that manners maketh men.", he smiled cutely, showing his dimples.

These might be the cutest dimples on this planet!

We went in together, and honestly neither of us realized how time flew by. We were there for almost 3 hours, which felt like mere minutes with Namjoon.

We checked out books, discussed our favourite authors, genres and got to know that we have way more in common. Even our unpopular opinions were the same.

Namjoon is the kind of person who can easily make you feel comfortable and at ease. And we didn't just talk about books, we talked about so many different things. Being philosophical about life and all.
I felt like talking to him was a wonderful experience in itself. He was so thoughtful.

Later on, he offered to drop me home but I didn't want to be a bother. So, he helped me get a cab instead, and I came back home.

Feeling a little lazy to instantly change into my sweats, I kept my phone at the center table and plopped on my couch to rest for a while.

After a few minutes, my phone rang.

It was a video call from Jungkook. I quickly picked  it up.

"Hiiii…!!!", I couldn't contain my excitement.

"Someone's in a good mood.", He smiled at me.

"Why not? I just got a call from the most handsome man I know.", I winked at him and he immediately blushed.

"Ms. Y/N Lee, you are the only woman who can make me speechless."

"Pleasure is all mine", I bowed, "how are the concerts going? I saw some clips, everything looked amazing."

"Everything is going great. Performing in front of an audience always makes me happy and all fuelled up to do even better.", he sounded like a happy kid.

"That's amazing. But you should take enough rest too. Don't tire yourself out in the process.", I said with a concerned look.

"Your wish is my command.", he put one hand on his heart. "By the way, it's your week off. I was expecting to see you in sweats, but you look gorgeous in your dress. Were you heading out?"

"More like heading in.", I smiled.

He raised one eyebrow at my response, out of confusion.

"I was actually out today with Namjoon. We went to a book cafe. So I just came back a few minutes ago."

"Isn't he that colleague of yours?", he asked.

"Yes. We got to know that both of us are into reading, so he asked me to join him to check out a newly opened book cafe."

"That's great. I am glad that you had fun."

"Yeah.. and.. I am missing you a lot.", I said with a sad face.

"I miss you too baby..just a few weeks more and I will be back in your arms.", he gave me a kiss.

"Come back soon please.. I miss my human sized pillow.", I pouted.

"You are making me wanna come right back.", He looked at me with his puppy-like eyes.

"I wish... And oh!! I forgot to ask, have you had lunch yet?"

"Yeah, I was just going to grab lunch with Jin hyung. And it must be getting late, you should sleep. Have sweet dreams."

"I will surely dream about you." I winked at him, and disconnected the call, leaving him a blushing mess.

Jungkook's POV

Even just a quick call with y/n, brightens up my day. And seeing her open up her heart to me is so endearing.

Now that I think about it, I am glad that she is getting along with her colleague. It must have been tough to move away from everything and start anew in a completely different place.

She finally found someone who shares her passion for reading. She must have been so happy today.

I wish I could have been there to see that smile of hers.
