The Epiphany // (Jungkook x Reader)✅

"It's a surprise"

Next morning, you woke up early and were waiting for Jungkook, as he was going to pick you up from your house.
You called him to check if he was running late.

"Sorry babe, I woke up late. I had to wrap up a recording, and it went on till late last night. My stuff is packed, and I just have to get ready!!", He apologized.

"No worries, I will meet you somewhere in the middle. Just let me know where and I will take a cab."

"No no no.. Jin hyung is already on the way to pick you. He will bring you to my apartment.. He must be reaching in a few minutes."

"I could have come on my own. There was no need to bother him. He must be a busy man already."

"It's not a big deal. He has himself proposed that he will pick you as I was late. He will call you. Can't wait to see you!!"

And off he went.

After 10 minutes, you received a call from Jin. You rushed downstairs with your bags, and he was already standing outside the car.

The first thing you noticed was his handsome face. His round, plump lips complimented that gorgeous face so much. You greeted him politely.
When he helped you with the suitcase, you noticed his broad shoulders.

You got seated in the car, and he started to drive.

Why is Jungkook surrounded by so many handsome men?

Oh god!! Jin is even more handsome than Jungkook and Jimin.

He should be a celebrity-

"Ahemm", you were broken out of your thoughts as Jin coughed to get your attention.

"Do you know what the ocean said to the beach?", he asked.

"What?", you asked with clear confusion on your face.

"Nothing, it just waved.", And he burst out laughing. You could not resist laughing at it too.

Jin knew how to break ice. Some small talk, and then Jin turned on the radio. It was not at all awkward.

When you reached Jungkook's apartment, he was ready to leave. He invited you in for a glass of water and checked with Jin on some details regarding the trip.

You could see on Jin's face that he was slightly worried about this trip. Though he had made sure that you and Jungkook could enjoy this trip without any privacy invasion, still going to Iceland with Jimin and going to another city in Korea with you were two completely different things.

Bidding him goodbye, you both finally left for Gangwon-do. It was roughly a 2 hour drive. Talking and laughing with him, time flew by, and you arrived at the destination.

Looking at the beautiful house and the serene view, your heart skipped a beat. How could a place be so beautiful!!
