The one thing I was really worried about with joining Ricky's team was the stress. I was worried that it would end up like before, I really didn't want that, not after there was finally some happiness in my life right now.
Luckily, the stress didn't get to us as much as last time. We still argued about little things at times, but we still made up later on that day.
At first, I was nervous about Ricky just watching me sing. I never really felt this way about performing in front of him before, but I guess things were different then.
"Stop being nervous, you wouldn't be here if you couldn't sing." I needed a way to control my nerves if I wanted to get through.
"I know" I sighed.Ricky had told me the same thing a million times before.
"You can do this, I know you can. I believe in you." Ricky came up and pulled me into a tight hug.
"Ricky, I can't breath" I said as he squeezed me harder.
"Sorry" he said as he let go. "I think I got a little carried away."
I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Its okay, I still love you the same."
Ricky beamed at me and we went back to rehearsals. I was performing two songs. One of them was Meanwhile Up In Heaven which was one of the songs by Ricky's band, The Kaiser Chiefs. No pressure then.
In breaks I saw Ricky constantly writing things in a notepad. "Whatcha writing?" I asked plopping myself down next to him. He quickly shut it so I couldn't read anything.
"You'll find out soon enough pet." Ricky said leaning over and kissing me on the forehead before walking out to get me and him lunch.
