To say that Kylie was angry was an understatement. She went on this massive rant about how she was going to kick Ricky's ass when she saw him tomorrow. I knew it was impossible to try to calm her down so I just stayed silent and let her finish.

"It's not fair on you. He's trying to kick you out of the competion" Kylie snarled. She was pacing up and down the room. I kept replaying what Kylie had just said to me. I mean, I know he's a smug git but he wouldn't purposely try to kick me out of the competition, would he?

Kylie promised me that she wouldn't let Ricky kick me out of the competition before leaving in a hurry. I sat down and let it all sink in. It's been a hectic day. well, it's been a hectic few weeks.

The next day I walked into the rehearsal room and the only person that was in there was Kylie. She heard me come in and smiled. "I don't think Ricky is going to bother you anymore." Kylie said wrapping her arm around my shoulders.

Not long after, Melissa walked in and we started rehearsing. I liked Melissa, we got on really well. Today she was acting differently, she kept on giving me evil looks when we were singing. At the time I shrugged it off and tried to concentrate on what I had to sing rather than the looks I was receiving.

The looks didn't stop by the end, they seemed to get worse. It could be just me over exaggerating things but I couldn't shake the feeling that she suddenly had a problem with me.

I was about to rush out of the room when Melissa called me back. She deliberately waited until Kylie had left the room, I wanted to leave earlier so I could avoid any chance of having this awkward conversation, but obviously that wasn't possible.

"Is everything okay?" I asked, trying not to show how nervous I was. There was a fleeting look of annoyance that rushed across her face before an awkward smile appeared.

"Just one thing." She said taking a few steps towards me. Her smile instantly vanished and her facial expression turned into one of anger. "

"It's obvious that Ricky likes you, a lot. I would've been on his team if it wasn't for it being full. He's supposed to be with me, okay?"

It took me all of my strength to stop me from laughing in her face, at first I thought it was a joke. But she remained serious.

"Everyone knows I don't think much of him, that's why I didn't even go on his team in the first place." I replied calmly to her. I thought I made my feeling quite clear about him to everybody, clearly not.

She didn't say anything. She gave me one more dirty look before walking out.
