Laying beside each other and already half asleep, both Levi and Eren grunted as if someone was pissing them off.

But luckily for them, in just a matter of seconds, they realised there was someone just outside the door only a couple of metres away from them.

And they totally weren't in the position where they could afford getting caught.

Levi yelled back he was gonna get the door in 'a second', as they both changed back into their clothes at the speed of light.

The ravenette quickly pushed the other into a small room that was right next to his bedroom, where Eren tried to hide his big ass self behind clothes.

"I'll try to cut it short. But just in case I can't, don't get out until you can't hear anything anymore, for some minutes."

Eren nodded.

Levi stared into those big green eyes for one more second like it was the last thing he could see in this life, to only realise he was running out of time as whoever was behind that door kept banging on it.

He rushed to get it: in the hallway was an old servant he knew pretty well.
He had seen Levi 'grow' up and had played with him way more than his own father had.

The man was resting against the wall, panting and covered in sweat.

As the ravenette asked what was wrong, and the man replied, still panting and gasping for air: "Sir, at your father's..."

He really couldn't speak, yet he had to deliver the news.
Levi's eyes widened and as opposite his throat tightened, the moment he heard the word fire.

He helped the man get up from the floor, to run outside and yell Furlan's name.
The ravenette quickly got his shoes on, hopped on a horse and rushed to his father's house.

His heart was pounding already, and he felt like it was going to fail as he saw the smoke.

A big, black cloud could be seen raising from the ground right in the direction of that neighbourhood.

Tears began to form in his blue eyes as he remembered that she had given those beautiful eyes to him.

And he was rushing there to save her.

A lot of pronouns game, meaning that he was rushing there as to save his mother.

Eren's eyes opened.
Still sleepy, he realised pretty quickly the room was completely dark.
But slowly he remembered why he was there.

He pretty much panicked.

He tried to listen for any noise outside, but could only hear the sound of his heart pounding.

Once he had made sure there wasn't anyone, he got back into Levi's bedroom.
But there was no sign of him.

He silently got out of that room, to make his way to the hall.

The house was completely silent: not that it was particularly noisy at any time, as the master demanded quiet, but people's voices could still be heard.

Convinced he was dreaming, he got outside barefooted, his feet getting dirty immediately.

He turned around, to see a blonde haired head running in his direction, to stop right in front of him.
