Jimin stared in awe at the house in front of him when Jungkook told him about moving in together. Jimin had assumed it would be an ordinary apartment, something small and comfortable near the school.

Instead, the younger had brought them to a fucking mansion.

"What happened? You don't like it?" Jungkook asked, studying Jimin's expression carefully.

"You don't mean that, do you?" Jimin scoffed, rolling his eyes.

Jungkook chuckled. "Then I'll take that as your answer."

He glanced toward Taehyung, who stood beside them with his arms crossed over his chest, scanning the mansion like a hawk.

"You know, you could go back if you're that afraid of me," Jungkook mused.

Taehyung sneered at the comment, but there was something almost amused hiding behind his expression.

If only the younger knew what was coming for him.

"Alright, let's go in," Jimin cut in quickly. He wasn't in the mood to watch another fight between them.

He grabbed his belongings and dragged them toward the entrance.

The moment Jimin stepped inside, he nearly collapsed from the sheer beauty of the place.

There was a large drawing-cum-dining hall with a big veranda in the middle, while a tiny but shiny staircase led to the second floor. Several doors lined the upper hallway, and a beautiful high-arched window covered with velvet drapes framed the far wall. The lace inner curtains remained drawn, allowing daylight to enter while turning the breathtaking view over the city into a soft blur.

The bathroom was large, airy and completely tiled, with a spacious shower. The kitchen was equally impressive, large and comfortable, positioned near the living room, with one of its doors opening onto a wide balcony.

From there, Jimin could see a beautiful park and playground below.

The drawing and dining rooms were tastefully decorated. The tiled floor was covered in intricate floral designs, while two enormous paintings hung elegantly on the walls.

The dining table was circular, with thick, expensive glass covering its surface. The dining chairs were high-backed and comfortable.

On another balcony, numerous flower plants grew from large earthen pots, including beautiful roses that added even more grace to the mansion.

Jimin slowly turned around, completely overwhelmed.

"Are you sure I can live here?" he asked in disbelief.

Jungkook scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Your room is on the second floor with Taehyung. You have access to almost everywhere in this place."

He paused.

"Except one room."

Both Jimin and Taehyung lifted their brows.

"Don't ever go to the west wing on the third floor," Jungkook added sternly.

"And why is that?" Jimin asked.

Something flickered in Jungkook's eyes.

The warmth disappeared.

His expression suddenly became cold.

"Because it's forbidden."

Taehyung let out a cocky smirk, crossing his arms smugly.

"And what if I disagree and go there?"
