Chapter 25

Jina's pov

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's see who regrets."

"Whatever you say, Daebi-mama Jina."

He clapped his hands, signaling his ministers to leave his palace. We both took a step away from each other. We looked at each other in the eye. We both were alone in the palace. He said "Well Jina, after all these years... you've come to kill me. What have you been doing these past years? Waiting for an opportunity like this?"

"Nope. I could've killed you a long time ago but like you said before... I didn't want to. Attacks or wars between kingdoms are a part of ruling. I didn't see that as a reason to kill but this... is just not acceptable."

"If you really knew, who he was... then I doubt that you'll be able to kill me."

"I don't care. He's a man from your kingdom. That's enough to understand that he won't let me kill you because he works for you."

"Jina, you don't wanna do this."

"Oh yes, I want to." I said before running towards him with my sword but he used his hands to protect himself. He held my sword and pushed me away. My eyes widened. I got on my feet and ran towards him again with my sword. But every time I tried to do something he kept moving away. "Too slow." He said. "I don't wanna hurt you, Jina. Better go back to your kingdom if you still wanna live a happy life."

"I don't think I'll sleep well without killing you."

I ran towards him with my sword again, concentrating. But then he held my sword with his arm and elbow punched me on my abdomen. I winced in pain. He turned around and said "You may be strong, Jina. But I'm stronger."

Author's pov

In the palace, not only Jina and Seokjin were there. There was another person too and he heard the whole conversation. He was one of Jeonha Seokjin's ministers. He got scared the moment he heard that Jungkook was caught. Jungkook and him had been best friends since their childhood. Jungkook was more than a friend to him. He was like a brother. He couldn't take it in when he heard that Jungkook was caught.

He immediately left after hearing that I went to change his clothes. He wore his black ninja clothes, revealing only his eyes and kept his sword in his scabbard.

He couldn't use the front doors to exit so he jumped from his window and went to the stables. He sat on his horse's back and was about to leave until when one of the servants stopped him and asked "Gyeong Taehyung, is that you?"

"Yes, it is I. Kim Taehyung."

"Where are you going, Gyeong Taehyung?"

"I'm going to bring Jungkook back. Please take care of Jeonha Seokjin while I'm gone."

"Yes, Gyeong Taehyung."

He hit his horse's straps. His horse neighed before running out of the kingdom and running towards Jina's kingdom, Silla.

Taehyung's pov

I reached Silla and I was outside her kingdom's gates. I saw the raised walls that surrounded the kingdom. I went far away from the gates to the kingdom and stood in front of the huge wall. I told my horse to keep its legs against the wall so that I could get a boost. My horse did so and I climbed on my horse. I jumped to other side of the wall and entered the kingdom.

I was in hiding as I went to the palace. I reached behind the palace. I took out my bow and arrow. I tied a rope to my arrow and shot the arrow. The arrow hit the wall a few feet above me. I pulled the rope to check if it was tight enough to use it. I confirmed that it was tight enough and started climbing up the rope.
