Chapter 14

Jungkook's pov

"Is it Jeonha..." I said, not being sure with myself.

"Jeonha..." She said.

"Jeonha Jimin!" I said, finally getting my answer.

"Jeonha Jimin?"

"Yeah, Jeonha Jimin. The ruler of-"

"I know who's Jeonha Jimin but it's not what he would do."

"What do you mean? Does that mean that Jeonha Namjoon or Jeonha Hoseok must have done it?"

"Nonono, that's not what I meant. None of these kings would kill a woman. Jeonha Seokjin would because he hates me but then he would send someone to kill me instead of killing someone who isn't even from our kingdom."

"Then who would have? You have any other enemy apart from these kings?"

"No... I mean not from Korea. But...who would do such a thing?"

I kept thinking. Then suddenly I blurted out, "Only if it's a woman..." I stood up immediately. "What do you mean?" She said, standing up. I turned my gaze towards her and said "Let's go to the place where you saw that woman."

"Why?"

"You'll see soon, Daebi-mama. Come with me." I said, stretching out my hand.

Expectation:

"Of course, I'll come with you, Jungkook. You're so brave and intelligent. I love you. " she said, whispering in my ear and taking my hand in hers.

Reality:

"Alright, let's get going." She said, walking out of my room. I rubbed my nape nervously. I said to myself "Man, I should keep my expectations low."

We took our horses and rode through the kingdom. The moonlight was on her. She was like a shining star. I looked up at the sky and saw the stars. There were so many stars but then a star was missing. And...that star was her. Her smile lightens up the sky.

Nonono, don't fall for her. Jeonha Seokjin told me not to fall for her. Gosh...it's hard.

We went through the forest. It was creepy. She asked me "So what did you mean by 'only if it was a woman'?"

"I'll tell you once we reach there. Is the body still hanging there on the tree?"

"Umm...yes. I didn't do anything. I just left the place as soon as I saw that."

"Does the kingdom know about this?"

"Be thankful that they don't know. Nobody comes this deep to the forest so they wouldn't know."

We went deeper and deeper into the forest. We heard the owl making its sound. After a while we finally stopped. She said, getting off the horse "Here we are." We got off our horses and I held a lantern. I saw the woman still hanging on the tree, upside down. I freaked out. I turned around and kept breathing out heavily. I felt someone's hand on my back. I turned around to see the queen. She was comforting me. She said, rubbing my back "It's okay. You have something in mind. Just tell it. Why did you want to come here?" I breathed out heavily and said, "I have to look at it." She nodded.

I turned around and saw the body. I took the lantern and shone it on the body.

It's...

"It's not real." I blurted out.

"What do you mean?"

"A body won't look so shiny when light is shone on it. I can prove it to you, Daebi-mama. I need a candle." She nodded before bringing a candle from the bag which was hanging on the horse. We lit it with fire. I took the candle next to the face of the body and what I had expected happened. The queen looked shocked.

The face was melting. I said, taking the candle away "It's wax. I knew it wasn't real. None of the kings would kill a woman except Jeonha Seokjin but he never does something like this. Like, he would never kill a woman beforehand because a woman doesn't even enter his kingdom. Nor a woman doesn't exit this kingdom other than you and I." I saw the hand which was made of wax. There were three letters written on it. It was written-

We were on our way back to the palace. She said "I think I who is it. It's Park Jimin." She smiled to herself.

Why is she smiling when she said his name?

"But why would Jeonha Jimin do something like this?" I asked.

"The only way to find out is to go to his kingdom. It's been a long time since I stepped into his kingdom. I kinda miss him." She said, smiling again.

Miss him? What does she mean? Does she love him? How did they meet each other? When?

I was lost in my thoughts. Then she said, making me come back to earth "Have you ever met him?"

"Yeah, I have. He's cute, isn't he?" I said, trying to act girly.

"Yeah, he's very cute." She said, blushing.

Seriously...I'm gonna kill him.

"But I don't know how he looks now because we last saw each other when we were kids. I never knew he would do something like this. He such a pabo. But a cute one." She said, smiling and blushing at the same time.

How I really wish I wasn't working for Jeonha Seokjin right now...

We reached the palace and we were sitting in my room. We were talking on and on. We planned on going to Jeonha Jimin's kingdom the next morning. We were talking until when I saw her holding her stomach. I asked, concerned "What's wrong, Daebi-mama?"

"I feel hungry."

"I'll get some food for you immediately." I said, standing up but then she pulled me by my wrist and made me sit down. She said "No don't. I'll eat tomorrow morning."

"No, please you have to eat." I said, standing up and leaving the room. She kept calling out my 'fake' name but then I didn't turn back. I wanted her to eat. I went to the kitchen and saw some rice cakes left in the vessel. I took it onto a plate and went back to my room. I sat down next to her on the bed. I took the chopsticks in my hand and took some rice, ready to feed her. She kept shaking her head and saying no. I said "Daebi-mama, stop acting like a baby and please eat. For me. Please."

"Okay." She said and opened her mouth. I fed her a mouthful of rice and kept feeding her until when the door opened. We turned our gaze towards the door to see someone who we didn't expect to see. It was...Lisa.
