I know that I shouldn't have affection for either of these boys. They've killed people, manipulated others, but even so...

It's hard to deny how I feel. I'm not sure if I'm only coming to a conclusion now because I'm being forced to make a permanent decision, or if I've simply been in denial of my decision this entire time. Regardless of which scenario is the case...

I took a moment to look at each of them, trying to come up with a conclusion in my mind. Who did I like...? Who did I not like...?

I can't... I can't do it.

I gently set the gun on the ground, kicking it away as far as I could. Both boys seemed shocked to see me doing this, but before either could say anything, I used my left hand to grab one of Shuichi's hands, and my right hand to grab one of Kokichi's hands.

"I'm sorry... But I can't choose either one. Perhaps I'm being selfish or incredibly indecisive, but I... I think I love both of you the same. I-I don't want to kill anyone... Would it be selfish to ask for a polyamorous relationship?"

Shuichi and Kokichi were silent for a moment, glancing at each other and then back at me. I'm sure they weren't expecting me to suggest this, and I braced for the worst reaction possible.

"Well Shuichi, what do you want to do? (Name) wants this, so I'm all for doing this. I'm sure it'd be fun to have two people to tease."

Kokichi gave us his signature chuckle, seeming to be the calmest of the three of us. It reassured me, but with Shuichi not responding yet I couldn't help but become worried.

"It's what (Name) wants, so there's nothing more to discuss. We may have some issues sharing you (Name), but we'll make sure you're the happiest person in the world."

I couldn't help but let out a soft sigh in relief, glad to know they were both alright with this. There was no way to know how they'd react, so I'm glad it turned out for the best.

"With the funds and resources I have from DICE, I can buy us the best house possible! It'll be our headquarters! Shuichi, you'll help with taking over the world, right?"

Shuichi seemed somewhat hesitant, but relaxed after seeing my smile and simple nod.

"Sure, I don't mind helping. Although I'd like to remain undercover for as long as possible..."

"Of course! (Name), you can help design the house!"

I smiled softly, glad to see things going so well. I had been hesitant to answer their offer since I didn't know how things would go if I didn't give an answer they expected, but this is turning out better than I could've hoped.

"I'd be happy to-"

I was cut off by Shuichi giving me a soft kiss on the lips. It didn't last too long, but we were both flustered by his advance. I could see Kokichi pouting when Shuichi pulled away.

"No fair! I want to kiss (Name) too!"

It wasn't long before Kokichi had brought me in for a kiss with him. He was a bit more rough with the kiss, but like Shuichi's it didn't last too long.

I have a feeling it'll take a while for the two to get used to the idea of 'sharing' me, but I'm glad they're willing to make this sacrifice for me. I truly do love both of them from the bottom of my heart.

Soon after that evening the three of us left Hope's Peak to start our new lives together. Hope's Peak was shut down a couple weeks later because of multiple ultimates being found dead, so it really wouldn't have mattered if we had stayed or not.

Shuichi continued working as a detective, while Kokichi and I designed the new house for the three of us. I was the main designer, being able to choose exactly how the house was designed and crafted. The only rule was that the three of us would share the master bedroom; they truly were insistent on sharing me equally.

Soon enough the house was finished, and the three of us were able to move in. The first night was a little rough since both of the guys wanted to sleep right next to me...

Now I always have to sleep in the middle to prevent chaos from insinuating. Although I suppose I should've expected such a thing to happen.

While Shuichi helps DICE by acting as a 'spy' for those trying to find and stop DICE, Kokichi continues leading DICE as its leader. I help both of them with their roles, knowing that if I leaned towards one or the other it would cause issues.

In the end, it was me that ended up proposing to the two of them. I told them that I really, truly loved both of them. I didn't know what I would do without both of them. Naturally they were delighted and overjoyed with the proposal. Shuichi cried tears of joy while Kokichi couldn't stop talking about how much he was looking forward to the marriage and such.

Kokichi wanted an over-the-top wedding, while Shuichi preferred a calmer, traditional wedding. Because of this, I was the one who had to break the tie. Besides, regardless of which style of wedding we had, I knew both of them would be happy with it.

That's just how they are.

We haven't decided what we want to do concerning having children yet. Kokichi seems excited at the thought of playing with a kid, yet doesn't seem like he would be the most responsible parent. Shuichi doesn't seem to have a strong opinion either way, claiming that 'whatever I want' is what he wants. They're willing to let me decide on this, so for now having kids is on hold until further notice.

Yes, I know our relationship isn't normal. I know that some people couldn't bring themselves to love the both of them after what happened, but they're also not me. I love both of them equally, and I'm excited to spend my life with both of them.

We all love each other, so it's hard to complain about how things ended.
