Wings of fire: Eye Of Creation

Part 2 Chapter 3

Winter looked up at the 3 moons feeling alone. 

Ever since Moon had chosen Qibli over him and at one point even chosen Darkstalker over him he had felt terrible. Every night he was reminded of her and his sorrow worsened. He had no home nowhere he belonged he was banished from the ice kingdom but even if he wasn't he wouldn't return, he was forbbiden to return from jade mountain, the only place that would exept him was santuary and it takes anyone. and frankley he didn't feel at home their. So he had left without telling anyone if he was going to be alone at least he wasn't alone in a crowd. He walked aimlessley looking for somewhere he could rest until he could figure things out. as he walked he was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't realise his scales were growing much colder and he was freezing everything he touched instantly. Eventully he stopped when he heard a large crack behind him he turned around and saw the trail he had left. shocked he realised he was causing this and the effect was only becoming stronger now everything within 14 meters of him was covered in frost. He looked at himself in awe how was this possible? He looked up realising where he was for the 1st time he was near jade mountain. The pain, the sorrow, the anger all came crashing on top of him like a glacier. He fell to his knees tears coming out of his eyes freezing as soon as they left his face then he heard a voice in his head 'Winter' Winter's head shot up at the word speaking aloud "who are you?" the voice replied almost immediatley 'i am icestorm and i am someone who can heal your pain, suffering and anger'. Images flowed threw his mind himself and moon in the rainwing kingdom, when he collided with pearl, when he left Moon and the jade winglet and when Moon took Qibli not him. "can you really help me?" he asked 'yes i can Winter i have fixed worse many times' "how?" 'if you allow me to see your memory's all of them i can find out what you need to do next to heal can you do that?' Winter hesitated but gradually allowed Icestorm to see his memory's without restraint. 'thank you winter, may i just say that you are an emotional wreck, others think of you as unchanging or cold but you were fighting against a lifetime of training you were fighting against tradition itself to change and they couldn't see that if you want to heal yourself you need to show them that.' 

Winter began to walk towards jade mountain when he stopped "do you know what's happening to my scales?" 'yes i do your scales are responding directly to your emotions if you allow me to control their tempreture i can stop it or increase it if you want' "yes do it". Again he went to jade mountain. When he arrived turtle and kinkajou greeted him enthusiasticly. Winter saw Moon walking toward him but she just walked past him without even aknowledging him this hurt Winter more than any spear or claw could he watched as she took off heading for the top of the mountain never missing a beat. Turtle put a talon on Winters shoulder "ouch buddy look i'm sorry but you've been gone a long time just wait for her." Winter knew deep down that Turtle was right but it didn't make it any better. Turtle cathced Winter up on what had happened since he had left including the fact that Starflight could see again. Qibli along with Peacemaker walked up to him in deep conversation and jumped when he said "hey Qibli long time no see" Winter could see deep concern in his eyes "whats wrong?" Qibli tried to hide the emotion but Winter knew it was their 'leave it Winter Qibli will tell in due time' Winter waited for a while before saying "uuhhhh okay.. well good talk." before leaving quickly. He returned to what was once his cave but now found that it was completely dominated by Qibli's style. He walked around the academy to all of the places where he would usually go but they were all taken over by other dragonet's even the self protrait he had drawn of himself had been graffitied on with words including: lame, ugly, what a terrible drawing, he look's like a midgit. Anger was slowly crawling threw Winter's scales and so did the cold. He took a deep breath and released frost breath completely covering the wall then he slamed his right talon into it all he acomplished was revealing more insults and destroying his portrait and hurting his claw's. In a whirlwind of anger and saddness he left the academy and rested on a nearby mountain. He had no dreams except running threw the halls of jade mountain and every room seemed to be designed to cause him grief. when he eventully woke up he had frozen solid the entire top of the mountain. He was barely awake when he heard dragons flying toward him quickly he hid and luckely the ice melted quickly. It was Moon and Qibli and they were in deep conversation ".... do you really think that Darkstalker can return Qibli? i thought he was gone?" he heard Qibli laugh "well Peacemaker is dreaming of him and seem quite fascinated maybe Darkstalker is returning after all it's not like he's the worst Dragon we know Right." Again he heard laughing but this time it was both of them "you sure got that right Qibli do you remember his FACE when i chose you? i mean seriously who would love THAT face its hideous!" Winter heard the two laugh histericly "You played him perfectly moon i nearly believed it myself!" Winter wished he didn't hear what they were about to say but he had to know were they talking about him? "that Winter is so idiotic he wouldn't know 'Handsome' if it bit his tail!" Their laughing was getting hysterical now and Winter clutched his talons and gritted his teeth. "moon i've got to know who you would rather Winter or Darkstalker ten times worse?" Winter's eyes widened and his eyes began to tear at Moon's words "Darkstalker every time heck i would marry any dragon in history rather than him i would just Barf if i woke up to THAT monstrosity!" Winter heard the voices fade in the direction of Jade mountain and once he couldn't hear them anymore he stepped into the light his wing's dropping as he saw them enter jade mountain. He saw two other dragons join them he quessed kinkajou and Turtle and by the looks of it they were all laughing.

Rage seethed threw his blood. Anger unlike anything he had felt before, he felt no sadness, no regret, no shame or embarresment all he felt was anger. 'Sorry you had to hear that Winter' Winter growled his so called friends were worse then his sister worse than darkstalker "Icestorm" 'yes winter?' "you said you would help me correct?" in his mind he heard icestorm's reluctant answer 'yes but..' "i don't care anymore all i want now is REVENGE i want them to pay for what they did to me can you do that?" Winter was getting angryer and angryer until the entire mountain he was on was frozen solid 'if you want revenge i need to access your subconcience' "fine do i...." Winter was suddenly in the icewing palace he looked outside and saw an icestorm sorrounding the palace. then a dragon appeared infront of him {the dragon at the top} the dragon smiled coldly "thanks Winter you fell straight into my trap" Icestorm began to laugh and he vanished. Winters rage left him as he realised he had been tricked. And Icestorm had complete control of his body.
