Avengers Preferences [DISCONTINUED/COMPLETED]

When you have a panic attack

WARNING: This chapter includes panic attacks, if this triggers you, please click away. Also, I don't know much about panic attacks, so if I get anything wrong, please forgive me.

Tony Stark:

-Walks into your room after JARVIS told him you were crying
-Knows what it feels like
-Sits next to you and gently lays your head on his lap
-"JARVIS, run protocol Stark."
-The lights dim down and calming music starts playing
-Plays with your hair and lets you cry into his chest
-"Shh, it's alright. I got you now, you're fine."
-Stays with you for as long as you need him

Steve Rogers:

-Came back from a run and heard you crying
-"Y/n, is everything alright, sweetheart?"
-Gets worried when he sees you crying on your bed
-Carefully sits down next to you
-You mumble out that you're having a panic attack
-Frowns and pulls you into a tight hug
-"It's okay now, I'm right here."
-He hugs you till you stop crying
-Tells you how brave you are

Bruce Banner:

-I feel like he's had a few himself
-So, when he sees you having a panic attack in the lab, he knows what to do
-Does the 54321 method
-Doesn't care how long it takes for you to calm down
-He will stay by your side, no matter what
-Gives you a hug after and draws circles on your back
-Kisses your forehead and reminds you how strong you are

Thor Odinson:

-He doesn't know what's happening
-Loki tells him that you're having a panic attack
-He sits on the floor next to you
-Silently wraps his arm around you and pulls you into his chest
-Kisses your forehead every now and then
-After you calm down, he softly smiles at you and pecks your lips
-Has Loki tell him more about panic attacks so he can help you if you have one again

Loki Laufeyson:

-He immediately knows what is happening
-Sits down next to you and holds your hand
-"I've had a few of these myself, feels horrible if you ask me."
-You nod shakily and he uses his index finger to push your head up so you were looking at him
-"I'm here for you, my love. Tell me what you need."
-Actually becomes your servant for the rest of the day, even after you calm down

Peter Parker:

- He sees you crying on his bed while shaking
-He himself panics and drops everything he was holding
-Cautiously walks towards you and kneels down in front of you.
-"H-Hey, Y/n, look at me."
-Doesn't fully know what to do
-"U-Uh, okay...Um..."
-Gets some blankets and lays down with you, cuddling you till you calm down and you both fall asleep

Bucky Barnes:

-Frowns when he realises what is happening
-Holds your hands to stop them from shaking
-"It's okay, doll, I'm here now and I promise, you'll be okay."
-Lays your head on his chest and runs his hands through you hair
-Cuddles you till you calm down
-Blushes when you thank him
-"I'll always be here for you, doll."

Sam Wilson:

-Panics a bit at the sight of you crying and shaking
-"Hey, hey, hey, it's okay."
-Rushes out of the room and gets some water for when you calm down
-Hugs you and whispers sweet things in your ear
-He tries not to cry 🥺
-When you calm down, he smiles at you and hands you water
-"My baby is so brave and strong."
