Y/n and Ethan held each others arms gently as they walked back to Y/n's place.

Everything felt perfect, this was perfect.

As they walked, Y/n heard a few chimes from their phone as they received various notifications.

They used their free hand to grab their phone from their pocket as Ethan looked over to them, "Looks like someone's popular." He laughed lightly to himself.

"Oh, I got a message from Mark." Y/n clicked on the notification and read it outloud to Ethan, "He just said congrats?" Y/n said, confused.

Y/n unraveled the couples arms as they typed a response.

Y/n: congrats? for what?

Mark:D: you're about to hit 50k on yt!! I thought I'd congratulate you early:)

Y/n: holy shit!! I didn't even realise, thanks so much man:D<3

Mark:D: no worries!!

"What's going on?" Ethan asked.

"Mark just congratulated me because I'm about to hit 50k on YouTube!" Y/n smiled and shook their hands happily.

Ethan smiled, almost wider than Y/n, and wrapped his arms around them, "That's amazing, I'm so proud of you!"

Y/n laughed into Ethan's shoulder, as they embraced him back.

As the couple pulled away, Y/n sighed, "Well, I've got a celebratory stream to set up for tonight then!" They smiled, very light tears forming in their eyes.

"Yeah! Let's go set stuff up."

Y/n and Ethan walked the rest of the way to Y/n's place, and quickly set up the stream.

"Do you want to be in my stream E?" Y/n said as they hovered over the start stream button.

Ethan thought for a moment before he responded, "Yeah, yeah, I would!" He grabbed a nearby chair to sit next to Y/n a moment later.

Y/n took a deep breath and clicked the button.

Their starting soon screen played for a minute or so as viewers began to flood in. Of course they didn't yet have as many followers on Twitch as they did on YouTube, but they had a substantial viewer count nonetheless.

The chat began to fill with countless messages saying congratulations.

Y/n turned on their webcam and the chat sped up even more, almost being unreadable as a mixture of 'Congrats!!' and 'ethan!?!?' flooded in.

Y/n laughed as they waved to the camera "Hey everyone!"

Ethan waved behind them to the camera, "Hello!"

"Today is just going to be a chill stream, a QnA maybe while we wait to hit 50k!" They stopped for a second to attempt read the chat "thanks for all the congrats guys, but we haven't hit it yet." They smiled as they scrolled through the chat.

Ethan and Y/n sat answering questions and chatting for a little over half an hour until they hit 50k, and promptly ended stream not long after.

"That was great!" Y/n swivled in their chair as they turned to face Ethan.

"Yeah! You're very successful, the people love you!" Ethan grinned.

"I really couldn't have done it without you." Y/n spoke quietly.

"It was all you, I gave you a boost, but everyone stuck around because they like you for you! All of your success is from you babe."

"Thanks Ethan." Y/n checked their phone quickly, seeing the date and time, "Oh shit. I have work tomorrow." They put their head in their hands and chuckled.

"You know, pretty soon, you can probably live off streaming and YouTube! You're doing really well so it shouldn't be long before you can."

"That'd be nice." Y/n nodded, taking solice in the thought.

"I do have to go home though, I have some videos to edit," Ethan frowned slightly, standing up.

Y/n sighed and stood up as well, "I'll see you tomorrow then, yeah?" They gently held Ethan's hand, as they waited for a response.

"Yeah, of course."

The couple both leaned in gave each other a slow kiss, as they said their goodbyes.

Once Ethan left, Y/n changed into some night clothes and got into bed. They stayed up for another hour or so scrolling through Twitter, having their mentions once again flooded with various congratulations.

Finally after months of not updating, here's something! I don't have a ton of ideas of whats going to happen next so, is there anything you want to see happen in the story? I'm always open to suggestions! can't promise I'd use all suggestions but I'd try my best:D!
