Y/n relaxed a bit and waited for Ethan to arrive. They scrolled through Twitter, mindlessly liking tweets, retweeting,and  responding to fans of theirs.

But soon their trance was broken by the sound of Ethan knocking on their door.

"Come in!" Y/n lightly shouted from their sofa.

The sound of bags shuffling could be heard through the door as Ethan entered, "Hey! I got the chocolate! I also got some chips."

He said sitting the bags down.

"Pog! Hand em' over." Y/n said sticking their hands out towards him.

Ethan laughed, "Alright, alright."

Y/n snagged the items and quickly began unwrapping a chocolate bar.

Ethan sat beside them, "So I was thinking, since we both have more free time, we could go to the movies soon? We haven't gone to an actual movie theater together..."

Y/n hesitated for a moment, public spaces weren't their strong suit, but they agreed nonetheless. "Yeah-Yeah let's do it. I'm free tomorrow if you want to go then?"

"Of course, does it matter what movie we see?" Ethan said as he scrolled through a nearby movie theaters website for movie listings.

"No, I'm fine with anything really."

"Hell yeah"

Y/n got dressed in comfortable clothes and got ready to head out.

Ethan sat on their couch, waiting for them to be ready.

Once Y/n was done they left the house and Ethan drove them to the movie theater.

"So are you gonna tell me what we're seeing?"

"Oh yeah, it's called Greenland. I'm not really sure what it's about, but I'm sure it'll be interesting." He smiled.

Y/n and Ethan happily entered the theater and looked among the rows of seats in front of them.

They found their seats towards the middle-back. Ethan had previously bought Y/n some overpriced popcorn which they quickly began eating.

Ethan and Y/n whispered to each other, holding in laughs as they told each other stupid jokes, but once the movie began they quickly quieted down for the sake of the other movie goers.

Near the middle of the movie Y/n had finished their popcorn and sat it on the ground. They rested one of their arms on the arm rest between them and Ethan.

Ethan did the same not long after.

After a few moments had passed by, they slowly felt Ethan's hand wrap around theirs.

Y/n's eyes widened slightly at the touch, looking over to Ethan who simply continued looking at the movie.

Y/n's heart raced but they too looked back at the screen, and lightly gripped Ethan's hand.

Here's a quick filler chapter before the Christmas one :)

Sorry for how short & quickly written it is, I wanted to get one or two chapters out before the Christmas chapter, which I'll hopefully spend more time on!
