EPISODE 12:

TIME SKIP ANOTHER FEW WEEKS LATER:

Yunnie finally got discharged after a month, but she still had to go to therapy every two to three days.

Yunnie was in her apartment, checking if everything was fine about her uniform. She had ditched her school skirt and wore the pants that the boys would usually wear.

She had dyed her black hair to a navy blue colour.

She wanted to leave the old Yunnie behind her. She's the Yunnie who would live life to the fullest.

Not worrying about Jisoo, her dad or depression. She was going to conquer them all.

She was Kim Yunnie.

She grabbed the new leather jacket she bought that day and held it in front of her, thinking. But soon, she grabbed a paper bag, folded the jacket and placed it inside, feeling all giddy inside.

~

Yunnie's earphones boomed with music as she entered her school of Saebom High. She thought that the students would gossip about her.

She wasn't wrong. Half of the people were gushing over her hair and uniform, where the other half, stuck to their phones.

Not only did Yunnie find it weird that people were whispering more than usual, but also the fact that when she reached her classroom, she felt a girl bump into her harshly. She looked at the said girl.

"Jugyeong?" Jugyeong was crying. She quickly ran past Yunnie. Yunnie, confused, walked into the classroom only to see everyone huddled in groups, eyes widening at their phones.

Yunnie snatched a phone from a nearby boy and read.

It was a post of Jugyeong... Exposing her bare face. The captions were absolutely disgusting.

'The real face of Saebom High's Lim Jugyeong. She was the dumpling girl before she transferred. You guys will faint once you see this. She's mad ugly. It's all makeup!'

Yunnie fumed with anger. All the students looked up at her scared, anticipating her next move. But Yunnie just looked at Kang Soojin who looked back at Yunnie with a small smirk.

'That bitch.'

Yunnie's instinct was right all along. Even though she acted close with Soojin, she knew something was off with her and kept her distance.

But it was too late. The lion attacked the mouse. While the wolf just watched.

"YAH!" Yunnie yelled at them, ready to give them an earful.

"A few days ago, you were acting like she was an angel. But now? Why are you acting as if she's a demon? Shame on you." Silence.

"Y'all were her friends. So why?... Society's really corrupting." Yunnie scoffed, turning to Soojin.
