Yunnie watched the City of Seoul from the aeroplane. She cried silently. The day before, she had confessed to Han Seojun that she would be leaving him, just like Suho did. But instead of family matters, Yunnie left to follow her dreams.

She wanted a sort of closure. She wanted to be free. And she finally was. But her heart yearned for Seojun. It yearned for the affection he gave her. It yearned and yearned, causing Yunnie to close her eyes and fall into a deep slumber.

Yunnie hadn't answered anyone's calls, hoping that they would slowly forget about her. She felt guilty for crashing into their lives and just suddenly running out. But she had to do it.

Hong Kong was her dream. The business was her passion. But Seojun was her love.

So how did she choose? Simple.

Seojun liked Jugyeong.

TIMESKIP ONE YEAR LATER:

Yunnie entered her classroom for another day of college, to see students huddling around everywhere in groups. Much like Saebom High, but the only difference was, that the students here were much less gossipy. They were laughing heartedly and they welcomed Yunnie like a new family member.

The children came from all around the world. Different cultures and diversities. It was truly beautiful.

Yunnie sat down next to her new boyfriend, Chris. She thought that if she dated, she would forget about Seojun. But apparently, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

"Hey, babe," Chris said in his thick British accent, seeing as he came from the United Kingdom.

"Hey." Yunnie smiled forcefully at him before kissing him on the lips. The teacher soon entered the class, smiling at the students before announcing,

"We have a new student, children!"

The teacher nodded at the doorway and a student walked in.

Yunnie's intense horror and shock led to her mouth being left slightly open. Chris looked at his girlfriend staring at the new student and he felt a pang in his chest.

He was the type to get jealous easily.

Yunnie, on the other hand, was boiling with anger.

"Hello everyone, I'm..."

~

"Kang Soojin. What are you doing here?" Yunnie dragged Soojin to an empty classroom, unaware that her boyfriend was watching from a distance.

"Didn't you hear? I'm studying abroad." Soojin said with a small but guilty smile.

" Don't you still feel guilty-"

"I'm sorry Yunnie." Soojin blurted out. Yunnie glared at her.

"Why are you sorry to me? You should be sorry to Jugyeong." Soojin sighed and nodded.

"I know. But she wouldn't want to meet me."

Yunnie gripped her forehead in frustration. Soojin just stared at her, feeling bad and mad at herself.

"Yunnie-ah..." Soojin stepped closer to Yunnie, hesitating before pulling her into a hug. Yunnie sighed, but then put her arms around her.

Chris's nostrils flared with anger. He was always the overprotective type. Too much that their relationship became toxic. Yunnie was never excited to see him. Never. But she didn't want to break his heart. So she kept silent.

Chris would never let Yunnie do anything. He would never allow Yunnie to look at anyone of the opposite and same gender, knowing that Yunnie was bisexual. And that was a problem.

Whenever the two fought, Chris would forcefully kiss her, never wanting to finish the argument because, in his eyes, he was always right.

It was an emotionally toxic relationship, making Yunnie beg for Seojun even more. She remembered the way Seojun would hold her, look at her and smile at her. Her heart ached for Seojun. Their hearts beat in sync.

"I am so, so, so sorry. To everyone, I've hurt. Please forgive me Yunnie." Soojin said.

"Soojin..." Yunnie pulled away to wipe away Soojin's tears. "It's okay. I understood your position. But please, don't let me down."

Soojin smiled thankfully at Yunnie and nodded excitedly. Yunnie smiled cutely at her, failing to notice the death glare Chris was giving her.

Yunnie was going to have a toxic and rough night.

~

"PLEASE CHRIS!" Yunnie shrieked as Chris and she got into yet another argument.

"DON'T LOOK AT OTHERS EXCEPT ME!" He shrieked, just as loud as he smashed another plate at Yunnie's feet. Yunnie's dorm was ruined. Shattered glass was scattered everywhere.

Chris often reminded Yunnie of her father. Maybe that was a sign to break up with her.

"YOU KNOW WHAT THEN? LET'S BREAK UP-" A loud slap echoed around. Yunnie held her cheek, which was sure to be red.

"YOU ARE MINE! MINE!" Chris continued.

Yunnie made to run for the door, but Chris pulled her back, slamming her to the wall, shoving his lips on Yunnie's. Yunnie cried and cried. But she didn't know, that someone was crying for her too.

~

Are you in a toxic relationship?" Soojin asked as Yunnie arrived in the classroom.

Yunnie looked at her and ignored her, remembering Chris's words.

TIMESKIP TO MONTHS LATER:

Yunnie still avoided Soojin at all costs. Chris, however, was getting more and more toxic and controlling. It killed Yunnie inside. She had no idea why she was still with Chris. The truth was, that Yunnie was scared of him.

You see, Chris reminded Yunnie of her dad. Scared that Chris would do something horrible...Just like her dad did.

Yunnie was currently walking towards the rooftop. She had just escaped from Chris, who was dragging her everywhere she went. It was almost impossible to get away from him.

Yunnie sigh as she stood at the edge of the rooftop, admiring the beauty of the night sky.

She leaned against the railings, taking in the cold air.

Her studies were going fantastic. Yunnie had landed herself a good job as an intern in Hong Kong for the experience. It was Hoo-Jung's birthday a few days ago, so the family had a hearty video call. And for once, Yunnie felt like everything was right.

She still talked to Jugyeong, Sua and Suho...But Seojun...

She completely lost contact with him. And she regrets it. Not one day goes by that she doesn't miss the bad boy that had managed to break her chains and steal her heart.

She never forgot him. And never will.

As Yunnie looked at the near buildings, her heart yearned for Han Seojun.

And somewhere around the world, Han Seojun's heart yearned for Kim Yunnie.
