Jade's POV

Tuesday

I woke up with the sound of my phone ringing. I checked and I guessed it right, Cat's calling. Who else could be calling you at 8 A.M.?

I answered the phone. And It was the worst decision I have ever made.

"Jade, wake up! We're going swimming now!" She said very loud, causing me to instantly distant my phone from my ears.

"God, at this hour? I don't think the sun is even up yet. You're making my ears bleed," I answered.

"We planned about this last night, remember? I already woke Tori and Trina up. They said they're getting ready," she says.

"Ugh, okay. I'll go fix myself," I said. Cat forced us last night to swim with her. She said It's going to be a "girls bonding." I refused to do surfing in the morning. So I really don't know why I agreed to swim with them but here we go. Perhaps, I've already gotten enough sleep. We've fully recharged.

I rolled myself towards the other side of the bed causing me to face Beck, who's still sleeping soundly.

I completely forgot that I'm not the only one in here.

My face was so close to his. I don't know why I did but, I stared at his features for a while. I haven't gotten this close to him since we broke up.

I looked at his fluffy hair, his thick eyebrows, his eyes, his prominent nose, and down to his lips.

Nope. What am I even doing. I said to myself as I stand up from the bed. Thankfully, he's sleeping like a baby right now. He's even snoring a little bit. Which is disgusting but kind of cute.

Get yourself together, Jade.

I went to the bathroom to get ready. After freshening up, I wore a black bikini as a top, white shorts, and a see-through floral black cardigan. I also did a half ponytail and put on sunglasses.

When I exited the bathroom, Beck was already awake. I went to the bedside table to get my phone. He's staring at me weirdly.

"Oh, morning. Where are you up to?" He asked in such a good mood.

"To the church, with this bikini on, obviously," I said sarcastically.

"I thought we're not going to do surfing until the afternoon?" He asked again. Do I need to answer him?

"The girls and I are going to swim in the pool. Why do you even bother, by the way?" I asked back.

"I was just wondering, okay?" he said calmly.

"...You really look good," he then adds.

"I am fully aware of that. Bye," I said with a smirk and went outside.

I saw Cat, Tori, and Trina on their bikinis as well. They're sitting at the chaise lounges beside the pool.

"She's finally here," Tori said. No, you're just hallucinating.

"Jade, sit here!" Cat said while pointing at the vacant chaise lounge beside her. I sat there.

"Pancakes? Mango juice? Smoothies?" Trina offers me.

"Trina, I'm not your daughter. I know you miss her but try to hold it in a little bit," I jokingly said and she laughed.

"But, I'll take the mango juice," I added.

"So, how's the vacation for you so far?" Cat asked while sipping at her juice.

"What do you mean. It hasn't even been a day since we arrived here," I answered.
