Chapter 6

Jade's POV

Today is Sunday and tomorrow morning is our flight to Hawaii. Cat has been bugging me the whole weekend saying she's so excited about our vacation.

It took me a lot of time convincing my manager to cancel my appointments for next week but of course, I'm always the boss. Good thing we've already finished taping my new movie or else it would be impossible to just abruptly disappear for a whole damn week. And about my company, oh I haven't told you about that yet. It's a multimedia company and it's doing great so it wouldn't hurt to take a week off as a CEO. 

We're all currently living in Los Angeles so we don't have to travel to Hawaii separately. I volunteered to shoulder our transportation and we're using my private plane to go there. Trina's bringing her husband; she said her mother-in-law is taking care of her daughter while they're away. Sikowitz, unfortunately, said he couldn't come because he's busy "educating" amateurs at Hollywood Arts. Though we all know his emergency leave just wasn't granted.

Cat paid for the place we're staying in, as she should. She's the one who dragged us into this. Tori helped Cat in our accommodation in Hawaii too. We haven't seen the location yet because "It's a surprise." They better not fuck this up or I'm going home. It should be worth more than every appointment I canceled for this trip.

As of the moment, I'm packing things up. We are going to stay there for a week; there's a lot to pack. I started with my undergarments, pajamas, and swimwear. I also prepared eight sets of outfits, yes, EIGHT, and some extra clothes. It was going to be ten but I've changed my mind. NO. I'm not trying to impress anyone. (Author: Jade, you're being so defensive right now.) 

For this trip, I'm wearing less black and by less, I meant one outfit that isn't all black. I need to adapt to the environment at least. I have three pieces of luggage in total. I made sure to include everything I need in those. 

I'm ready for tomorrow. I don't seem a little too excited, don't I? Yeah. I'm not excited at all.    

Well, let's just see how this trip goes.

Beck's POV

It's Sunday night and we will be leaving tomorrow morning. I haven't prepared any of my things yet. I just slept the whole day.

When I go on trips, Jade will help me pack my things while scolding me for being "irresponsible." And I kind of miss it sometimes. 

I don't know. I just felt the urge to share that.

Anyways, I finally got my ass off the bed and got my luggage ready. I packed my clothes and everything. I brought just enough but I still need to look good, of course. We already planned our trip, well the girls did most of it, as usual. So there's nothing to bother about now. And it's also not my first time in Hawaii.

It's an early flight tomorrow so I should probably get some sleep.

...But, I can't sleep. I feel good about this trip but for some unknown reasons, I feel kind of anxious at the same time.
