Jade's POV

We're in the pool area, chilling.

"Are you sure you're coming with us?" Cat asked me. They said earlier that they want to go on a hike.

"Aren't we IN HAWAII? I shouldn't just stay in my room and be a killjoy." I imitated Tori's voice. And by imitating her, I meant, doing a voice like an actress from the '40s.

"But you're sick," She insisted.

"No. I already feel well," I told Cat and she gave me an if-you-say-so look.

I went to the villa to changed my clothes. I wore leggings and a sports bra layered with a sleeveless top because I want to. I also tired my hair in a bun. I went outside after getting ready.

The resort provided us a backpack and I just put extra clothes and a jug of water inside because there's no way I'm carrying a 100-kilo bag on a 10-mile hike.

You might be wondering why I suddenly want to hike and the reason is, I want to sweat a little bit. Yes, we're on vacation but we gotta stay in shape.

Okay, that was cringe. Ignore that.

I went outside the villa and they were all gathered together. We rode a golf cart going to the hiking spot. We arrived there and oh my fucking god, that looks like a very long hike. I  just hope I am making the right decision.

Some girl was accompanying us so that we don't get lost. Beck was behind her and they appear to get along. They were talking since the start of the hike. She's obviously into him. But so what? I don't care. We're not together.

After almost two hours of hiking, we saw a waterfall. Are we finally at our destination?

"Right there is one of the majestic waterfalls of Hawaii

"Right there is one of the majestic waterfalls of Hawaii. We can stay here for a little bit but, this isn't our final destination yet!" The tour guide girl said.

As much as I want to complain, I can't because I signed up for this.

"Can we go to the waters?" Cat asked. 'That' girl nodded. I followed Cat and we went to the shallow areas of the falls. The water doesn't go up to our knees.

"I noticed you're eyeing some people," Cat said.

"Stop noticing things," I then responded.

"Look, the tour lady is getting all touchy with Beck," Cat added which immediately made me turn my head on their way. She's not touchy but, she's too close with him that it's almost "touchy." I didn't notice I was staring or glaring at them for too long.

"Chill. I see 'ya," Cat teased. What if I drown this girl?

For legal reasons, that was a joke.
