Jade's POV
My driver helped me put my luggage in the car's trunk. We're now going to the airport. As I sat in the backseat, I received a message from Cat.
"Robbie and I are already here."
"Stop updating me like I'm your mom or something," I replied and she just reacted to it using a laughing emoji.
How are they so early?
After a 30-minute drive, we finally arrived at the private airport. I went to the V.I.P. lounge. Beck, Andre, Trina, and her husband are already there as well. Trina introduced her husband to me.
"Nice meeting you. I'm Ethan," he said.
"Nice meeting you too," I replied.
I'm surprised Tori isn't here yet. It's 8:00 am; our flight is in 30 minutes. We just waited there and had a little chat.
Minutes later, Andre said, "We're leaving in 15 minutes. Where is Tori?"
"I just texted her and she said she's almost here," Trina spoke.
"Should we go to the plane and wait for her right there?" I asked.
But after a few minutes, we finally saw Tori approaching us. She has multiple suitcases carried by some airport crew.
I thought my suitcases were already too much but this girl has five.
"Wait, we're supposed to bring our whole house?" I said to them.
"Come on, that's the least I could bring for a 7-day trip," she said while scratching her head. She looks like a mess.
"Let's get going," I said.
The crew assisted us as we go to the gate. "This way, ma'am," one aircrew told me while pointing at my private jet. The pilot and stewardess which aren't already unfamiliar to me, greeted us as we entered the aircraft.
"Welcome back, Miss Jade," the pilot said to me.
"...and Sir Beck!" he then added as soon as he saw Beck. Beck and I greeted him back.
The staff also shook hands with Cat, Robbie, Beck, Andre, Tori, and Trina.
After a few minutes, we settled ourselves down as the plane is about to take off. I sat on the couch near the window, with Cat next to me. There's a small bedroom here but I'll stay with them. Robbie, Andre, and Beck are at the couch across from us while Trina and her husband are on the side. We ate breakfast, talked, turned on some music, watched movies for over three hours, and drank some champagne. They eventually got tired. I was on my phone so I didn't notice everyone fell asleep. Cat's head was on my shoulders so I pushed it away but it keeps on swaying back so I eventually gave up. I leaned myself on the couch and took a nap too.
I woke up after an hour. The definition of a nap to me is literally an hour. The flight attendant then informed me that we're arriving soon. When I decided to wake them up, the pilot announced our touchdown which woke them up instantly.
"Oh. We're already here," Cat says as she yawns. It sounds like this bitch had a good sleep on my shoulder. I almost couldn't feel it at all.
"Thank God. You are so little yet your head is so heavy."
We all fixed ourselves and exited the plane. My staff bid us goodbye. We claimed our belongings; the airport crew assisted us towards the VIP exit and the vehicle we hired.
"Finally! We're in Hawaii!" Tori exclaimed.
"I'm so excited," Robbie added. I am too. Excited to get some real sleep.
It took us one hour to get to the resort. I actually didn't care because the view outside was good throughout the whole ride.
The place was on top of a small hill and the landscape was breathtaking. We entered the resort and the receptionist leads us to four modern villas that share a pool. It looks cool. Fine, I commend Cat and Tori for this one. In a few meters away, there's a beach too.
It's already late in the afternoon. We all agreed to stay in our villas and take a rest for the remaining hours of the day.
"Cat, let's go. I'm tired," I said to my best friend.
"Uh, hmm, Robbie and I are sharing a villa," she said.
"We are?" Robbie asked. Cat gave her a just-go-with-the-flow look.
I guess I have to share with Vega now. But before I was able to ask her, she said she's staying with Andre. And obviously, Trina is sharing a villa with her husband.
"I'll book my villa then," I told them.
"But you need a 3-day reservation first," Cat said.
"Why don't you share with Beck?" Tori asked.
Beck and I stared at each other for a couple of seconds. He just shrugged his shoulders.
Sigh.
I guess I don't have a choice. Wait, I can just bribe the receptionist but I'm exhausted.
"Let's go, Beck," I said. I saw Cat and Tori wiggling their eyebrows at each other. I knew it. They had something to do with this. I'm actually impressed. They had the guts to set me up. I was too tired so I'd let this one pass.
One of the hotel staff gave us the card for our villa. Our things are already in there. A nice bedroom welcomed us where you overview the beach from the balcony.
But there's just one bed.
"I..I'll ask for an extra bed," Beck said.
"No, it's okay. I'll take the right side and you can lay on the left," I said. Not him acting like we never shared a bed before. In fact, we did things more than sharing a single bed. I immediately throw myself on it. I need sleep.
