CHAPTER SEVEN 

After the cruise ship docked...I decided to wear facemasks and a cap. I atleast want to go out from the cruise, explore the whole world too, to free and to relax myself from everything. I admit that me and my friends also want to tour around the world but now, they're busy with their work and their own life. Also I don't want them to know about my state right now... I'm afraid that they would meddle. I do not want to lose them.

All I have to do is to think of them everyday... I miss them.  I sighed. I looked around the pier 27 and I closed my eyes...savoring the air. I missed San Francisco too and I am sure that I'll enjoy my stay here for 5 days and nine hours. The environment looks good too. 

I looked back at the ship and my eyes darted on a guy whose wearing his Captain uniform. I smiled before I waved my hands. "Thank you." I muttered. He smiled before he waved at me also. 

Kinuha ko ang maleta ko at saka tuluyang umalis sa pier na iyon. Pagkalabas ko ay naghintay pa ako ng masasakyan, cable car siya and I'm fine with it. I just want to go in that 3 star hotel again where my friends and I once slept, Club Quarters Hotel. 

Nang makababa ako sa tapat ng hotel ay napangiti ako saka tuluyang pumasok sa loob. I booked the cheapest room so whether I like it or not...I have to expend $152 every night I would stay here. Noon ay binibili at kinukuha ko lahat ng pwede kung kunin o bilhin, hindi ko rin naman iyon pera...it's my parents money after all. But now the money I am holding now was my cousin's. 

After opening my room's door using card, I went straight in the bedroom, the kitchen, the living room. It's the smallest room in this hotel but I won't mind as long as I have a room to stay than none.

I glanced at the wall clock... I only have 3 hours to rest before having my lunch.

Nagising ako na masakit ang ulo ko. Maybe because of the sun's heat... I slept for 2 and a half hours and it's already 11:30 p.m.

I made sure that I wear a cap and face mask to atleast hide my face... Afraid that I would get caught. I shall not get caught...

I arrived at the restaurant 7 minutes after where in my friends and I used to eat. Malapit lang siya sa hotel na tinutuluyan ko ngayon actually.

Nang naupo na ako ay agad naman akong nilapitan ng isang waiter. He gave me the menu. "Wayfare Tavern and one bottle of red wine...please?"

He nodded at me. "Yes, please wait for a moment, madam."

I thanked him before he left. I looked around the restaurant and then my I glanced at the wall. I smiled and then I walk towards the big frame where in you can put your pictures there.

My smile grew wider after I saw our friends' picture... That was 3 years ago... I want to laugh or cry...I can't see them personally now that I have a problem.

I sighed.

"Madam..."

Lumingon ako para makita ko kung sino iyon and I recognized him, he's the waiter lately, whose holding a tray and a bottle of red wine.

"Oh. Okay." I walk towards my table and then I sat down. "Thank you."

He smiled. "Enjoy your food, madam."

I smiled at him.

I glanced at the food and ohh... I miss this! I also opened the red wine and then pour my glass.

Sana may kasama ako ngayon. Luminga-linga ako...nasa pinakadulo ako kaya hindi masyadong matao...

I sighed and then I began to eat. I was just looking outside the wall glass while eating. People may found it weird but I'm really sad right now, now that I'm alone. I smiled bitter before drinking my wine again... I don't care if I'll get drunk. What's matter to me now is to get wasted and I could atleast forget about my problem...forget about how scared I am.
