CHAPTER ONE

I wore a colored black cocktail dress for my second day here with the passengers and also crew cabin and the workers of bridge's. Every second day in cruise ship will have the so called "captain's cocktail party."

I sighed after putting on my make-up. Kinuha ko ang sandals ko na kulay black saka iyon isinuot.

After I looked myself on the mirror again. While looking at myself, I smiled. "I. Do. Not. Deserve. A. Man. Like. Him." Ani ko sa salamin saka lumabas mula sa cabin ko.

Dumiretso ako sa kung saan parte ng cruise ship magaganap ang captain's cocktail party. I was invited to go...there are free drinks so why wouldn't I go?

Luminga-linga ako sa kabuuan ng ship saka ngumiti. Ang dami naming nandito, wearing formal suits.

"Wine, madam?" Napatingin ako sa harapan ko, hawak ang tray na may lamang baso ng wine.

"Yes." Kumuha ako ng isa. "Thank you." I said and she nodded before asking the other people.

I sipped my wine and it tastes so good, it's strawberry wine.

"Everyone, Let's welcome our cruise's captain! Çaptain Vonn Blake Hutton!"

"Hutton..." I uttered. "This cruise ship was named Hutton's cruise so does that mean he's one of the owner or yeah..."

"Everyone he's our captain..." May iminuwestra ang gentleman host sa gilid niya. My eyes darted beside the gentleman host and my eyes widened after seeing who he is. Rinig ko ang singhap ng mga tao. "You're shocked right? Well he's our youngest captain." Aniya saka ibinigay ang mic. Sa katabi.

The captain smiled, showing his perfect set of teeth. "Good evening everyone!"

"Good evening..." Sabi ng iba. Ako lang ay nakaupo sa pang-isahang table doon sa pinakagilid, nakatingin sa captain nila. He's the one who saved me from falling into the ocean. Well yeah I have to say this... He is the reason why I almost jump into the ocean because he shocked me... Pero buti nalang hindi ako tuluyang nahulog doon. I sighed before listening at his speech.

"I am Vonn Blake Hutton and yeah, I know some of you wanna ask about my last name. Yes. My father's side, their family owns this cruise... Anyway,"

May iminuwestra siyang mga naka-uniporme sa tabi niya. "I want you to meet our staff captain here, deputy captain Kino Guevara and the first officer of navigation, Ion Guevara." The guys both wave their hands at us. They're both have the same face but not the same built, I admit that they're handsome...

"I also want you to meet our senior officers, cruise director, cruise chef, hotel manager and also the human resources manager." They all smiled at us, waved ut us also.

"I want to welcome you onboard and also I welcome you for your second day here. Enjoy your remaining days here." I felt saddened after hearing those 'remaining days'. "And please be safe around." He looked around and his eyes stopped to my direction. I looked back but My back was a wall so I supposed he's looking at me. Iniwas ko ang tingin ko saka nilunok ang second glass wine ko saka tumayo.

"Wine please." I said to the crew.

He walked towards me. "Here, madam."

I thanked him before walking outside. When I finally went on the deck... I closed my eyes... I opened my eyes after seeing dad and mom's faces. I sighed. Nandoon parin iyong sakit... Iyong sakit na nararamdaman ko.
