I slowly opened my eyes, but the only thing I could see was water. That's when I realised that we crashed into the sea. I tried to open the door and smash the window, but it wouldn't budge. I looked at Vincenzo whose eyes were still shut. I tried pushing him to wake up and slapping his face, but he wouldn't open his eyes. Wake up damn it.

I lose hope and try to find something in the bag in the backseat. I find a pole and smash the windscreen. I cut off Vincenzo's seat belt and pull him out of his seat through the windscreen. But he's so fucking heavy. The train of my dress rips in half as I pull us out of the car.

Holding on to Vincenzo I swim up to the surface of the water. My head goes up the water and I can finally breathe. Gasping for air, I attempt to keep my eyes open. Holding on to Vincenzo, I scan the distance, looking for a place I can swim to. I see a bridge and some land below it. I swim to the shore dragging Vincenzo with me.

We reach the shore, and I stand up and drag his body across the land. I get on my knees beside him and slap his face again. "Wake up you idiot. Wake up!" I put two fingers to his throat to sense a pulse.

No pulse

As much as I resented this man, I have to save him. I rip open his shirt, clasping my hands on top of each other and begin heart compressions. Then the thing I know for sure I will regret; I pinch his nose and bring my mouth to cover his. Still no pulse. I begin compressing his chest again. "Come on... Vincenzo... please wake up."

I stare at him for a second, then he coughs up water, and sits up gasping for air. Oh thank God.

"What the fuck! Did you just kiss me!" he shouts at me.

"You just died, dumbass. And you're worried about me kissing you!" I shout back at him. Ungrateful bastard. "Grow up!" I shout in his face and stand up. "Come on, we have to get out of here."

She saved me

She saved me. Jasmine saved me. Doesn't she hate me? She walks away from me, the train of her dress is ripped to shreds. My shirt is ripped open, my arm is drenched in blood, I could feel it through my suit jacket. I got up and Jasmine was searching for a way to get up the bridge, but there isn't a way back up. The bridge is way too high to climb up.

"You're not going to find a way up. We're stuck down here amore." I chuckle under my breath.

"Ugh! Why do I have to be stuck with you!" She slaps her hands at her sides in defeat. Then she sits on a large rock and tries to soak out the water from her hair and dress, or what was left of it. I walk up and sit next to her.

"Can you not sit anywhere else!" Jasmine rolls her eyes at me then looks away. She is shivering right now, so I take off my suit jacket the stand up and soak out some of the water from it and put it over her shoulders. "What the fuck are you doing. I don't need your stupid jacket." She tries to take it off.

"You're freezing amore. Keep it on."

"Don't pretend to care." She adjusts the jacket around her shoulders and looks over to me. "Your arm it's-"

"I'm fine, it's not that much." I lied, it hurts like hell, I didn't want her to see me weak, and it was a lot of blood.

"Are you kidding, you're drenched." She begins to rip off the material of what was left of the back of her dress, and wraps it around the wound on my arm, I stare at her while she wraps my arm, the moonlight reflecting over her flawless skin. I had so many questions for her, but only one clouded my mind.

"Why did you save me?" I ask her while looking into her eyes. She stops wrapping my arm and stares back at me, searching my eyes for her own answer. She could have left my body here and run off but she didn't.

My enemy saved me.
