"This is bullshit." I snarl. We've been looking for my mom for ages and haven't found her. I'm losing my patience now. "Any luck?" I ask walking up to Lina.

"No, sorry." She sighs. She looks like she's been crying.

"What's wrong?" I rub her arm.

"I saw my parents."

"What'd they say?"

"They practically disowned me, again." She laughs dryly.

"Oh Lina, I'm so sorry."

"Eh, it's cool. I'm used to it." She puts her arm around my shoulder and we walk back through the corridor.

"You guys need to get out of here!" My dad shouts.

"Papa, what's going on?" I panic.

"There's no time, all four of you get home, now!"

"Shit. Come on." I pull Lina with me. I dial my phone to call Vincenzo. "Pick up, goddamnit." I groan.

We walk around the corner and see Vincenzo and Stefano at the end of the corridor. "Why don't you pickup the fucking phone?!" I run up to him and shout.

"It broke. Are you guys alright?" He asks and Lina and I nod. "We have to go, before we get tracked." He holds my hand and we run out towards Vincenzo's car. Gunshots go off from behind us, one going straight for our car.

"Shit!" I turn around and see Stefano holding onto his stomach, his shirt drenched in blood.

Alessandro POV

"Adrianna?" She looks as beautiful as the day I last saw her, she's wearing a long black dress that sits in her frame perfectly, her black hair cut short reaching just above her shoulders and her eyes pierce into mine.

"Sandro?... Sandro." She realises and runs into my arms and I hold on to her. "Oh my god." She sobs. "You're here."

"My love." I'm holding her in my arms again, after eight years.

Eight years.

She pulls back and holds my face in her hands and I do the same. Her eyes fill with more tears as they slip down her face.

"I'm so sorry, Sandro... I'm so sorry." She sobs.

"Hey. You're ok now, we're going to get you out of here."

"I missed you so much." She smiled up at me, and I choke on my tears and kiss her, like the day that we had our first kiss.

The taste of our tears mix together and Adrianna melts against me. I never thought I'd see her again.

My Adrianna.
