"Enzo..." the last thing I say before everything goes dark.

"Mamma!" I shout as I see her standing in the flower garden. She turns around and I hug her as tight as I possibly could.

"Jasmine, my baby." She kisses the top of my head.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, I thought she was dead.

"This is our home isn't it?"

"Yes, but I thought you di-"

"Died? What did I tell you, even if you die your soul lives on for infinity."

"Infinity."

"It's time for you to go back, my butterfly."

"Go back where?"

"To your papa, your siblings, the Italians. They miss you, you know."

"But I want to be with you mamma. How many times do I have to tell you that I need you." A tear escapes from my eye.

"I've told you that you don't, you have everyone you need. Now tell me how is Isabella?"

"She's growing up, she's turning eight soon. She looks just like you, that's what papa always says."

"I'm sure she's a troublemaker like your papa too."

"Yeah, she is." I smile.

"And what about that dashing Italian boy. What's his name again?"

"Vincenzo? It's complicated."

"I know you like him."

"Mamma, I... don't." I roll my eyes.

"Keep telling yourself that Jasmine." Oh, I am. "You want to know what your papa told me when we met." I shake my head. "He said that souls don't collide by accident."

"Oh, that." Complete bullshit. But at the same time it can't be a coincidence that Vincenzo saved me seven years ago, then we encountered each other three years ago, and now we're working together.

"You have to let me go, my butterfly."

"I can't, I'm broken without you." God I sound like a helpless child.

"Hey, you were never, and you aren't broken. You are my daughter, mine and your papa's princessa, and if I'm saying this right, you are the baddest bitch I know."

"Mamma." We both laugh.

"I love you, Jasmine."

"I love you, mamma." We hug again, this is the last time.

"Goodbye, we'll meet again."
"Goodbye, ma-" before I could finish she disappeared. My eyes shut and everything goes white. I can hear the beeping of machines and shouting in the distance.
