Lucas wrap his hand around Haechan's shoulders and started walking with all Haechan's friends following "Mark you coming?" Jaehyun said and Mark followed quietly behind.
"You want to eat lunch together?" Lucas asked, hands still wrapped around Haechan "yeah sure".
"Ooo he's blushing more" Jaemin said "just married him already" Renjun said and gave Jaemin a high five but ended up looking away blushing "look who's blushing now" Haechan mocked.
The bell rang and they said there goodbyes and went to their respective class. Mark has an advantage because they both have drama class together... only the two of them.
No friends
No distractions
No Lucas
They got in class and as Mark was going to sit next to Haechan someone came in and took the seat, Mark sent a death glare at him but he didn't notice. The classroom was already full so he had to sit by the window, one seat way from Haechan.
"Welcome class, nice to see all your lively faces this morning" the teacher said "nore like lifeless" Haechan said and everyone started laughing.
"Haechan now now, it is too early in the morning for this behavior"
"Sorry Miss, you may continue" he said and bowed his head she smiled and continued "so far I've been teaching you how to write your own play and your own scripts so I expect you to be able to do that by yourself now".
The class knew what she was doing so they all started to argue saying things like "but I still don't get it".
"I can't remember what we did so let's do something else"
"Maybe another year"
The teacher watch her students in amusement "so you're telling me none of you remember my work" they all nodded "so none of you remember that I said this will be 50% of your overall mark".
Everyone's jaw drop even Haechan and Mark was shook "just listen, we're not going to do a whole play I'm just letting you write a story, it could be whatever you want romance, drama, comedy, action and I'll even let you choose a partner to work with".
Oh thank lord! Working with a partner would make the assignment so much easier "find your partner and discuss your assignment for the rest of the class".
Everyone immediately stood up and ran to their friends, Mark looked at the side of him and saw the guy who took the seat from him was about to talk to Haechan
Shit!! Mark stood up "Haech-"
"Mark let's be partners?" A girl said but another girl push her out of the way "No be mines".
Their butts was right in Haechan's face and it was pissing him off "can you-" one of the girls cut him off "please shut up" she face back to Mark Haechan scoffed "sorry girls Mark is already my partner" he said as he push them aside and wrap his hand around Mark's arm.
The girls was irritated but Mark was shocked "Markie how could you let him do that to us?" She said like she was about to fake cry. Mark lean in closer and told her to get lost, she scoffed "both of you could go to hell!" She said.
"Why? Are you lonely down there?" Haechan joked. She got more mad and stormed off with the other girl following.
"Sorry Mark, you probably wanted them to be your partner" Haechan said as he let go of Mark's arm "no it's ok, I rather you"
"Really? Ok, but I'm an handful to work with" Haechan said as he sat down and motion Mark to sit
"Lucky you, I have two hands for a reason" Mark said as he sat down "ooo I like that, hopefully you won't want to switch partners at the end of the day.... Markie" Haechan mocked the girl's voice.
Mark's heart wanted to jump out his chest at that moment, it's like he was teasing him "do you mind calling me that from now on?" He was surprised he didn't stuttered.
"Its a really cute nickname so yeah I'm ok with that" Mark was trying not to look too happy about it but he was literally screaming inside. He sat in front of Haechan and waited for the smaller boy to talk "would you like to do romance, comedy or action?" Haechan asked.
"Hm....why didn't you said drama?"
"Cause in every romance there's drama so if you want to do drama then let's do romance" Haechan said and started writing down something on a paper.
If you're with me we won't have any drama, I'll give you everything you want, please be with me Mark wish he could say it out loud but he just couldn't. Haechan likes Lucas and he doesn't want things to be awkward between them if he confess.
