Highschool = Over

Noah's POV:

I woke up with a smile on my face something I have had for the last couple of months because after all the hurt I was happy.

It had been a week since graduation and me, dixie, addi, and Bryce were graduating today.

We had to get up extra early and go to the arena that we would be graduating at. Addi was making breakfast when she saw me she gave me a hug. I hugged her back and started swaying side to side. "We're getting old" she said with a laugh that I joined in on.

"Yes we are but after all this time we are doing it together" I said and she nodded in my arms. When she let go she said "here is what's happening so me and you are going to pick up dixie because Bryce should be here any minute. We will drive to the arena all together to be with everyone else and the teachers. A hour and a half later the graduation ceremony will start. Me and you will be the first out of the group because we are b's and then dixie because she is d and then Bryce being a h"

I laughed at how she didn't need to tell me because the principal had went over it with the whole senior class. "Okay Addi" I said shaking my head. "That being said go get your cap and gown and change if you want to remember pictures for everyone"
I nodded removing myself from the chair. Addi had always been extremely smart and it paid off because she was valedictorian. She had been practicing her speech for months now. She was really excited, but nervous. Me, dix, and Bryce assured her if she could get this far with no mess ups she could speak to the students she has known her whole life.

Soon after me Bryce and adds were driving to the damelios. When we arrived we all got out of the car and knocked the door. Dixie answer kissing me and happily hugging Addi and chase hello. Her mom and dad gave her a good luck and we soon all got in the car and drove to the auditorium. When we got there Bryce and Addi parted. Me and Bryce would be regulars graduating but Addi would be given a speech and she passed with extra accomplishments same with Dixie who was president and was giving a speech too. I was really proud of them, even though both of them were freaking out. "I'm nervous Noah" Dixie said playing with my shirt. "It's okay love you will do fine" she continued to play with my shirt. I grabbed her hands and kissed each of them. I kissed her forehead and then her lips. She hugged me "thank you" I rubbed her back "always"

I was now sitting down with the whole class of 2021. Dixies parents, charli, Tatum, and some of Dixies family were in the crowd. My mom texted me and Addi saying congrats and apologizing for not being able to make it. Me and Addi were sad but not for long because we were very used to it. Dixie, addi and a couple other students sat in the stage. Bryce Was 2 rows behind me. Soon our principal got on the stage and it was time to go.
"Hello students, parents and family. We thank you all for joining us for the graduation of Arizona high students." He looked down at the student crowd "knowing each and everyone of y'all for 4 years had been a change. Good and bad." Some laughed "I am beyond proud of each and everyone one of y'all and I can't believe I am seeing the freshman's that walked in started their lives. I love want y'all to venture, love, have fun and most importantly be y'all's self because I know it had taught me to be who I am wnd I can't thank y'all enough. The graduation will Start of with president and Vice President giving their speeches along with teachers and nominated student. We will get started with the diploma ceremony and We will end with out valediction." We all clapped for her speech and then Dixie was given to he mic she looked terrified her eyes found mine and I smiled: which she returned and began "Standing here on the stage is something I never thought I would be doing. It's something I put no thought to but here I am. Graduating with my friend and people I have known since kindergarten. Leaving this school and this town to start my life seems scary but I know with the friends and family I have made her I will be most definitely okay. It has been a long 4 years but I would never change for the world. Thank you peers for showing me the importance In friendship. Thank you teachers for teaching me all I know, for believing in me when I had no faith in myself, and I thank the school for giving me a second home" she smiled indicating she was done everyone clapped and cheered she happily sighed and sat down. That's my girl.

After the teacher and a couple more speeches we were beginning I get the diplomas. The kids gay passed with extra stuff we're getting their diploma. "Addison Rae Beck" everyone cheered I could her charli and Tatum from the stand. Addi walked proud to shaking teachers hands and grabbing her diploma she smiled for the picture and happily walked off stage. A couple more names got called and then I heard "Dixie Jane Damelio" I clapped and cheered along with the crowd. She walked the same was Addi did but when she began walked down I saw the happy tear come of of her eyes. Bryce names got called and then mine did. I got nervous but after the said my name the nerves went away. I got my diploma and walked off the stage back to my seat. It was finally over.

After everyone's names were called and all the diplomas were given Addi walked on the stage. "I can't believe it is finally over, 4 years of my life have past. For all the freshman's I want you to know that even when I gets hard because trust me it will I want y'all to know that waking on the stage made all the tears, sweat, and hurt all better. I promise you will have fun though. To all my peers today was the day and tomorrow is when it starts so turn your tassel" everyone followed "and let's say hello to our lives" she grabbed her hat and three it along with all the students.
