Miraculous Ladybug: Reality

Ch 1: New Student

The city of Paris. The city of love. And who could blame such a statement? It was beautiful. The Eiffel Tower being a mighty symbol of the huge city. The underground museum holding hundreds of artefacts. However, all of that paled in comparison to the most amazing thing in the city: Superheroes!

Paris had two superheroes, with some being on and off. Ladybug and Chat Noir. Neither knowing each others identity. And for good reason. If they did, everything would go downhill. But why were there superheroes in Paris anyway?

A villain, going by the name "Shadow Moth", formerly known as Hawk Moth, is after a certain set of two jewels. The earrings of the ladybug and the ring of the black cat. As you guessed, these jewels belonged to Ladybug and Chat Noir respectively. But why? If they have superpowers, why would they even need a set of jewels. Seems... redundant, right?

These set of jewels are called "The Miraculous". The Miraculous are powerful objects, normally a set of one or two jewels. They can range from earrings, hair clips, glasses, bracelet, necklace etc. And these jewels hid a creature inside, known as a Kwami. Kwamis are who give their owners superpowers. All they have to do is say the right phrase to transform.

And one girl was holding on to the ladybug miraculous...

A girl groaned at the sound of the alarm and took a hold of her phone. She opened her eyes, keeping them half closed and turned off her alarm. She put the phone down and went back to sleep, however, justice never sleeps. After a few more minutes of sleeping...

"Marinette! You're going to be late!" a small creature cried out.

Marinette opened her eyes and shot out of bed. "Oh shoot, oh shoot oh shoot! I forgot about school!" she exclaimed.

"Calm down, Marinette. You still have 10 minutes before class starts."

Marinette's eyes went wider. 10 minutes? How long did she sleep!? She frantically looked around her closet, trying to find the right outfit to wear. She found something perfect. Her usual white t shirt and a black blazer. She wore pink jeans and light pink ballet flats. Her hair is tied up to twin tails.

"10 minutes?? I won't have time for breakfast! I have to hurry! Where is my bag??" she asked in panic.

The small creature flew up to her and pointed to a backpack on the floor, books inside and ready to be read. Marinette grabbed the bag and put her signature purse with her, in which the small creature hid in.

"Thanks, Tikki."

Marinette rushed out of her room and downstairs, grabbing two slices of toast as they flung out of the toaster. With a toast in her mouth, she opened the front door of her parents' bakery.

"Bfwye mwom afn dfad!" she called out, the toast muffling her voice.

The school, surprisingly, was not too far from the bakery. Heck, it was right next to it across the street. If she still had 10 minutes left, why did she need to hurry?

"You really need to stop staying up so late, Marinette," Tikki said within her purse.

"I know, Tikki, but as Guardian I have to make sure there are no Akumas running loose in the city AND learn every bit of the Miraculous as possible. I mean, what would happen if I was asleep and Haw- Shadow Moth attacks?"

"I know, but it's like Alya said, you need to take a break sometime and do something relaxing."

Marinette kept silent, knowing that she would not win that argument. She made it to school, Collège Françoise Dupont, and walked up the set of stairs. Before she managed to walk in, a Limousine stopped in front of the school. Marinette knew exactly who that was. Adrien Agreste.
