Ch 6: First Bout

The class started. The bell rang. Students took their places and awaited for Miss Bustier to enter the class.

"Has anyone seen Shad?" Marinette whispered.

"No, he disappeared all of a sudden yesterday. After the Akuma attack, he didn't show up," Adrien said.

"Maybe he went home? Maybe he thought the school was being evacuated?" Nino wondered.

They were about to continue, but heard Miss Bustier clapping her hands.

"Good morning class. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience yesterday. But I wanted to say well done for acting accordingly and finding shelter. Let's hope today will be better."

On top of the school

Reality stood on the edge with his arms crossed. He was about to commence and attack to lure Ladybug and Cat Noir out.

"So... My friends decided to lie to me and destroyed my works of art... I'll show them my newest form of art."

"Remember, I only want the miraculous. Get them for me and you will keep your powers permanently," Shadow Moth said.

"Yes, yes, whatever..."

The butterfly symbol disappeared and Reality smirked. He disappeared in a flash.

Classroom

"So with the new laws, Germany..." bla bla bla bla. History is never really fun. It's interesting how life was back then, but overall, it can be a bit boring.

And that's what many of the students thought. Adrien was especially bored. Yes, he is a good student, however, due to being homeschooled for a long time, he already knew about this topic. That didn't mean he would just put headphones on and not bother to listen. No, he just layed his chin on his hands and let his mind wonder.

Marinette was a different story. She loved history. It was one of the topics she expelled at. A lot of the times, she'd flip through the books to see pictures of important people. She took note of their clothing and designed her own fashion around them. Oooh so that's why she loved history...

Marinette had to sit alone today, since Alya had gotten a bit sick.

"So with that, the war was over..." Gosh, more pointless nonsense.

Reality was upside down on the ceiling, looking at the board where Miss Bustier was writing. He swore he'd never been so bored. At least he had a little something to do while he waited. He took a glance at Adrien's right hand. A ring was on it. It was silver. He then remembered Cat Noir having a ring of the same design, just not being silver. And Marinette's earrings... She never took them off. At least other girls find new earrings every one or two days, but not her. So this caused his suspicion to grow.

Sighing, he levitated right in front of the class, catching everyones attention.

"History, history, history..." he mumbled and let out a wave of energy, knocking everyone out of their seats.

"Lilaaa.... Where are you, you lying bi-"

"Don't forget your purpose there. Just lure out Ladybug and Cat Noir!"

"Fine..."

Everyone stood scared. They have seen an akumatized victim before, but this was different. It was like this one was acting differently. Marinette and Adrien had to find a way out of the classroom to transform. Reality snapped his fingers and cages appeared around the students, trapping them inside.

"No one leaves, no one gets in. Where are Ladybug and Cat Noir?" he demanded.

"How would we know?" Lila spat.
